Battery

Battery full if charge and life
Why are people so full of strife

Why are some people born with full bars
While others are still looking for a charge

Battery used and broken
Why can there just be a potion

One to fill a battery who's lost and lonely
One who is tired and ghostly

One to end it all
and bring peace to those it calls

Those running on empty
And gives them their happy ending

The pot and the melody

We as young clay are
molded and folded to
be the pretty pot being
stuffed into the ovens
before our edges can
even be buffed. I don't
want to be in this kiln
Its flames's to hot with
words left unspoke and
songs left un wrote. And when
I crack under the pressure they
set for us. They say to just glaze
over those cracks as they turn their
backs on the broken pot and it's
forgotten song. It's
melody of helps and
pleas left only for the
fool willing to see
a catastrophe
dressed in a
pretty dream.

The casket letters

One day when i lay in my casket
they bring the out letters in basket
What i wrote when i losing my last gasket.

One for my mother the strong and brave a women full of strive never knowning my pain.

One for my father the one that broke the fairytale story i wrote when i looked up and thought of love i now know nothing of.

One for my sister, my best friend and the one whom left me most dent.
Making me question everything i send, did i phase this right, and i doing whats right, will i leave tonight without a fight as i look towards the night my last string of hope in sight.

One for my friends the ones i lost on the way clearing my mind of what will they say and will this be ok

One for the friends half lost who's better of not being one at all cause how can you love someone you only partly shove when seeing someone else

And finally one for me, all my hopes and dreams laid to rest with my letters right next to me.
