Reaching For Air

Talking To You Is Like Reaching For Air

Its not neglect its, need.
You feel you need to catch up on us,
remind me why I love you, why you love me.
We play catch up every four weeks
you remind me of a time forgotten.
We daydream of a time that could be or could have been
I love you!
You love…
I… I'm tired.

I don't hear from you any more,
did you notice, I cared more than I let on.
Its been so long I forgot your voice
did you realize, I made you my hope
or did you outgrow me.
Was this just until you got the courage to stand alone?
Because I always seem to be the one left to be alone.
I wanted to forget how good you made me feel
but every time you comes around I can't hide.

I think it's time I say goodbye to you.
I reached out exposed myself beyond forgetting.
You took it and did I don't know what.
I honestly can't feel this being more than mechanic.
All of the cogs turning into place ticking and clicking,
automatic, I honestly can't embrace this.
This has been over so long.

Where are the people that mattered?
They are all out mattering to someone else.

Every time I talk to you its like I'm gasping for a dream, air.

How To Have a Good Day

So I sit back and let the sky burn today
No help from me they having a bad day
No hell from me I’m having a great day
So their soles are dry but mine is still so moist with joy
Their eyes hurt, my ears hurts from the complaint
"fools"!
“Needed to hear that”, my day still great
Ashes now fall from the sky
They suffer to breath
Laughter fills my sole as I caught blood
The cotton of their cloths meats off their skin
“I smile”
My chair breaks, my mood unchanged
The soles of their shoes melt to the floor
Now I dance on their toes
The scream for the humanity
“Shut up“!
“I’m still having fun”
Unconscious they lay on the floor
I sit on that body and laugh at the sky as its burning fury falls upon our heads

Guilty Perfection

Like an alcoholic appreciates the taste of good tequila
she is beautiful,
her presence is intoxicating and baffled by her charm.
Like old wine that is only brought out on special occasions,
drank from crystal glasses and savor the taste.
Her lips are like the crystal glasses and after every kiss, must savor.
The point where heaven and earth meet she emerged.
"She is the dream"
A woman I would have but never get to keep.
The sun and the moon came together for one day
and that day I held her.....
