They, Them, Theirs

I'm not a girl,
I never played with barbie dolls,
went head over heels for boys.
I never went to houses for sleepovers,
started rumors, gossiped.
No, none of that.
I never bullied people,
got into fights,
cared about my hair.
I'm not a girl at all.

I'm not a boy,
even though I play in mud,
wrestle with my friends.
I never played Fortnite for fun,
say idiotic things to the girls,
cuss at my teachers.
No, none of that.
I never wore the same clothes twice,
cared about what cologne I used,
played with bugs.
I'm not a boy at all.

I'm non-Bianary,
I play in mud,
watch anime,
low blow my friends,
dated girls,
wrote in a diary.
Yes, I have done all of this.
I wear lip gloss,
never lipstick,
didn't care about pimples.
I'm my own kind.
They/Them.

We laugh, we cry

For some reason,
I love the sound of crunchy leaves:
CRUUUUNCH
It reminds me of the last I saw you
We cry, we laugh.
No matter what the leaves will fall

For some reason,
I enjoy the warm smell of rain, falling on the flowers:
It reminds me of the times I'd cry for you.
We cry, we laugh.
No matter what the leaves will fall

For some reason,
I adore the smoke that emits from the firepit:
it reminds me of the fights we had.
We cry, we laugh.
No matter what the leaves will fall

For some reason,
I hate the kids laughing:
it reminds me of those times we'd spend together.
We cry, we laugh.
No matter the leaves will fall.

A Mother's 'Love'

She beats me, and all I do is cry.
She hates me and I wish I wouldn't wake up in the morning,
Did you say mommy issues?
I have those.

Mom: "Cheylenn did you do the dishes?"
Cheylenn: "Yeah, mom!"
Mom: "WELL, YOU DID THEM WRONG!! REDO IT!!"
Cheylenn: "No, I didn't!"
Mom: "You put the plates in the front! You know what I'll do them myself!"
Cheylenn: "Okay!"
Mom: "Get your BUTT out here!! God why did you give me a lazy child!!"
Cheylenn: *Currently making dinner*
"MOM I'M MAKING DINNER!!"
Mom: "Did I ask? Hurry up!!"
Cheylenn: *Sighs*"If this food burns it's your fault!!"
Cheylenn: *Walks to the living room*
"You wanted...me?"
Mom: *Points at the carpet*
Cheylenn: "What's wrong with it?"
Mom: *Proceeds to whack me in my head*
"Don't get smart with me! You see that?!"
Cheylenn: "OW?! SEE WHAT?!
Mom: I am sick and tired of doing everything, the dishes, the laundry, the trash, YOUR sister's diaper, it's too damn much and all I do is ask you to do SOMETHING right for once and you can't even give me that!"
Cheylenn: "I do everything right, I do too DAMN much, YOU DO NOTHING BUT SIT ON YOUR BUTT AND WHINE! THIS IS WHY I WANTED TO LIVE WITH DAD!! I DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE TO AMERICA! YOU MADE ME!!"
Mom: *Proceeds to cry*
"That's how you feel about me? All I wanted was a daughter to love me! And I get this hating little goblin this is why I had another child!!"

She tries to guilt trip me.
And if I don't fall for it, I'm wrong.
You had a mother's love?
Can't relate...

Who am I?

Who am I, If I'm not me, without my looks, without my gender, without my brains, without my jokes, without my humor. Sometimes it's a joke to me, Who am I, I'm a who, who are you? Are you a who too?

I'm

I'm a liar,
I'm not kidding,
I lie to myself, tell myself it'll get better,
I lie to my friends,
To my family,
I'm a liar,
and I'm not proud of it.

I'm crazy,
I'm not kidding,
I've fantasized of doing things to people,
That'll never be spoken of,
I've heard things, do you hear what I hear?
I've seen things, do you see what I see?
I'm crazy,
and I'm not proud of it.

I'm stupid,
I'm not kidding,
I say stupid things, like 6-7,
I do stupid things, like love people,
I have an F- somehow?
I'm stupid,
and I'm not proud of it.

I'm Cheylenn,
I'm not kidding,
I'm non-Bianary,
I'm *****/Demisexual,
I'm stupid, I'm a liar, I'm crazy,
I'm Cheylenn,
and I'm not proud of it.

Watching me

Lurking in the shadows,
watching me.
I turn on the lamp, where did they go?
Maybe I'm insane, maybe I'm crazy?

Lurking in the walls,
eyes glowing red.
My heart starts racing,
I'll stay in my room instead.

Lurking in the cracks,
parasite latching on as I yelp.
I can't seem to shake it.
THERE'S NO CRY FOR HELP.

Intentions

To: Deku (Saniyah)
From: Kacchan (Cheylenn)
I had no intention of liking you,
I actually wanted to hate you.
The way you laugh and smile, infuriated me,
now that you're gone, all I want to do is hear you laugh and see you smile.
I had no intention of talking to you,
I actually wanted to ignore you.
Yet, hear you are running your mouth,
now that you're gone, all I want to do is hear your voice.
I had no intention to get to know you,
I actually wanted to remain strangers.
Though, you came out of nowhere to talk to me,
now that you're gone, all I want to do is learn new things about you.
I had no intention to love you,
I wanted to stay single forever.
But here you are across Colorado, with another girl.
Now, all I want to do is love you.
I had no intention of losing you,
I actually wanted to know you forever.
Alas, you're a different person then you were then.
Now, all I want to do is call you a nerd, and hear your "Fact of the Day"

Fall in a nutshell

Have I ever told you,
How Autumn gained his second name?
Now I will,
May the story stick to you like a stain.
Long ago, Autumn was a respected man,
Better, he was a king,
stronger than three elephants,
smarter than a fox,
scary as an ox.
Until a fair maiden named Summer ask to wed,
they shared the city, hand in hand,
"Through life and death" she said.
But Summer had malicious purposes,
She gambled, made bogus deals,
Autumn, was astonished, he realized she wasn't to his appeal,
they had a divorce, his family, the city, was oh so sad.
Later, people stroke back, and Autumn lost everything, everything he had.
The family had fallen, Autumn became ill and passed,
In the afterlife, he was a god. He made sure anyone who stomped on him, he surpassed.
He was cold, he was bright. He would never fall again,
it was a cruel nickname; he hated the stupid nickname.
That's how fall got his other name.

You're right

Them: "Pfft, look at you! You have the tightest jeans in Atlanta!"

Me: (Atlanta? We're in Colorado?) "I guess you're right, I do have tight jeans."

Them: (What? They just agreed.) "Ha! Look at you! You wear that beanie because your hair is nappy!

Me: *Chuckles* "You're right, I do!" I smiled, "I haven't had the chance to do my hair yet!"

Them: What's with them? "Well...Why do you have a thick accent? You're not even from here you immigrant!

Me: *Chuckles again* "Heh, You're right, I'm not from here! I'm from Australia."

Them: Ugh, they're pissing me off! "Well then...why is your skin so dark? Been in the sun too much?" *Laughs hardly*

Me: "You're right! I love being outside, I've never heard of staying indoors."

Them: "Whatever!" *Storms off while stomping*
