The feeling of fall

She watches the leaves fall
Like the tears down her cheek
They hit the ground with grace
Old leaves fall for new ones to grow
As the tears puddle around her feet
She too wishes to grow into something new

Despite everything

She feels her heart beat in her chest
She feels the air fill in her lungs
She hears the thoughts begging them to stop
Please stop
It hurts
But her heart keeps beating
Her lungs keep breathing
And despite everything,
She keeps living

The everlasting pain

She wonders why it doesn't hurt anymore
The feeling of her skin being cut off
Blood seeping out
Maybe she's used to pain
8 years of snipping pieces away
Hoping soon there would be nothing left
Soon never came
Soon turned into a mosaic carved all over her body nobody would ever buy
Stuck in the back of an empty gallery
Watching the whole world turn to dust

Her world without love

She longs for a touch
That is not her own
Not her own hands
Or the blade she keeps by her bedside
Staring at her
Waiting for her to fail again
Embarrassing isn't it
To keep something so close
Yet it draws her blood
And leaves scars no one will ever love
She longs for a touch
That will never come
Only the touch
Of the blade she wishes she could throw away
And the hands
Full of hatred nobody can change
