The love you give

The love you give, so deep, so wide,
Held me close, stayed by my side.
But now I question what was real,
When silence crept and truth could steal.

I gave my all — my heart, my trust,
Believed in "us," because I must.
But whispers grew where laughter died,
And I was left with tears to hide.

Was I not enough for you to stay?
Did love mean less with each new day?
Still, here I am, torn but true,
Afraid to lose the “us” I knew.

Mistakes were made, the lines were crossed,
But deeper still is all we've lost.
Yet through the pain, I still believe,
In love that breaks but doesn't leave.

So if there’s still a piece of "we,"
Please don’t let go that easily.
For hearts can heal, and trust can grow,
If we choose to fight, not let it go.

What was I made for

I’ve been there for everyone
Even those who never stayed for me.
I fake a laugh so they feel seen—
While I wonder if I even am.

I lift others when they’re down,
Because I know how it feels to drown,
To be invisible—until you mess up,
Then suddenly, you’re all they talk about.

Always the second choice,
The backup when silence fills the void.
You learn to hold your peace,
While your heart quietly breaks in pieces.

Insecurities fed by “jokes” that cut deep,
Weapons disguised in laughter’s reach.
You cry yourself into the night,
Then wake up with a practiced light.

Smiling through the ache you hide,
While anxiety and pain scream inside.
Still you ask, with a heart so sore,
"What was I even made for?"

The strawberry moon

The Strawberry Moon

Beneath the glow of the strawberry moon,
Life moves in rhythm — not late, not soon.
Its soft red light up in the sky,
Feels like the hope we hold inside.

It changes shape, like smiles and tears,
Like happy days and hidden fears.
Each part of life, both big and small,
Tells a story — we live it all.

We rise, we fall — we heal, we grow,
We learn so much from all we know.
We laugh, we cry, we lose, we find,
We carry dreams and peace of mind.

Yet still, the strawberry moon will shine,
On broken hearts and healing time.
It shows us: even pain can fade,
And even scars can make us brave.

So when you’re tired or feeling low,
Look at the moon and let it show —
That life moves on, the dark will pass,
And love and light will always last.

The power of humanity

In lands where silence used to reign,
Where voices cracked beneath the strain,
A whisper rosea gentle cry
For justice true and freedom high.

From broken streets and shattered dreams,
To fields that echo with the screams
Of those unheard, unseen, unknown,
A call for rights began to grow.

The right to live, to breathe, to be,
To walk this Earth with dignity.
To speak, to learn, to hope, to thrive
To live a life, not just survive.

No chains of colour, class, or name
Should bind a soul or feed the flame
Of hatred's grip or power's thirst
For all are equal at their birth.

A child in war, a mother’s tears,
A silent crowd that hides its fears.
The cost of peace is often steep,
But worth the mountain it must leap.

For peace is not just silence held—
It's hearts and hands that must be meld.
It’s justice served with open hearts,
And building bridges, not war carts.

It’s teachers teaching without fear,
And truth in every voice we hear.
It’s choosing love instead of hate,
And opening every locked gate.

Human rights, our sacred flame,
Are not a gift they bear no name.
They’re not reserved for just a few
