Confessions of a broken heart

Confessions of a broken heart.
In the quit of the dark
The stillness the running of thoughts
The struggle to find clarity
In an environment built upon disparity
Rumors lies dishonorable acts
Fill the mind like panic attacks
At a crossroads a mental impass
Emotionally still attached
Direction to go is at a lack
Physically feel completely detached
As if in mourning someone who hasn't even passed
Hope remains for a second chance
For a love that doesn't freelance

To my husband

To my husband
That choose to never be there
That choose everywhere but here.
In the physical and emotional
Always choose to disappear
From the end to the beginning
Was never self aware
His actions spoke the loudest
His words was never spoken
From here all trust with in was broken
Barriers are built with every broken promise that was made
Soon the love that once was there
Feels as if it fades
He points his finger
And passes the blame
Never looking at his own actions
Never feeling a grain of the pain
Never truly looking in his own reflection
Just always projecting
To the father of my children
Who choose to never be here
Who choose everywhere but here
In the physical and emotional
The damage done is already there
Year after year turns to resentment
Beyond repair
One thing leads to another
But they just wanted you there
Again you choose everywhere but there
Two boys one father that choose to disappear
Blaming others for his action
Not seeing the truth that was there
Now one family lost in despair
Left wondering if he would ever choose to be here

Words can break the soul

Sticks and stones may break the bones
But words can break the soul
Words stick to the mind like super glue
Replay over and over
Jumping over hurdles to get over
Imprinting the narrative
Creating self limiting blue prints
For we are our own beliefs
Sticks and stones will always be thrown
But words leave wholes the will never heal
They steal the places in the head
Where the mind is mislead
Casting aside logic
Like using black magic
Spell bound to the words that was said
Cutting deep deep inside the head
Sticks and stones may break the bones
But words can break the soul
Simple slip of the tongue
Cut throat to cut deep
Irrational words to speak
Casting aside your true beliefs
Becareful with the word's you speak
It can cause someone's soul to get buried deep
Simply by the words we choose to speak

Gift to believe

We are all created different
And giving the gift to believe
Weither it's in witches and demons
Or God in the heavens
We all believe
Neither is right nor wrong
It's people finding the comfort in which they belong
Finding themselves in the universe
Which has been written in the stars all along
It's putting beliefs together and still getting along
Making a difference to those who matter
Putting their faith in a higher power
In what you believe shouldn't matter
It's a mix of beliefs
That brings us all together
