Light

	Two sides war
	A world tore
	Hail the rich, tax the poor
	Commit bloody crimes of gore
Build onto the lies, the lore
Let the Elephant and Donkey roar
Treat having an opinion like a chore
And dig down to the core
Where all they want is more

Fight, fight, fight
	Then we might
	Find what’s right
	Follow the light
	
	When all is lit though
Then where to go?
Run and mow
Down the others, till they’re low
And you’re on the high road
	More than one too many crow - 
	Not a murder, a massacre of foe
	Enemy of my enemy is my friend, although,
	Are there any real friends or foe?

Fight, fight, fight
	Then we might
	Find what’s right
	Follow the light

	There’s nowhere lit
	And not hit
	By an adult’s fit
	Lacking wit
We’re all forced to quit
	Or we’re knit 
Into stereotypes that don’t fit
The story’s been writ
By someone illiterate

Fight, fight, fight
	Then we might
	Find what’s right
	Follow the light

	But no there’s no light
	Cramped tight.
	In this crawlspace of fright
	There is no more wrong or right
	No more black or white
	No longer can I keep it out of sight
	No longer can I back up the fight
	No longer can I stay here out of spite
	And no longer can I fit into this space,  tight.
	
	Fight, fight, fight
	We might
	But we won’t find what’s right
	Can’t keep following the light
