Even on my worst days

I closed the door, but I didn’t lock it
I kept the key in a secret closet
My guitars are in their folders
And my spirit is undercover

Even on my worst days, I’ll still believe
Some temporary things are for eternity
For a homesick mind like this

New year, new songs, same storyline
People keep asking if I will survive
They don’t know all the assets in my hand
Because I’m addicted to beat the game of life

Even in my best days, I see perfectly
How you destroyed all my dignity
You came, you ruin me, then leave

The wedding flowers have already withered
and with them our last opportunities
All my strings are worn out
And my voice got tired of lies out loud

Even in my best days, I secretly
Kept asking if I enjoy all the time I bleed

My limits went down
My knees were begging down
Could someone hear me out? I scream out loud

The Countdown

8 billion people in the world, 8 billion people with a soul, and I want yours
7 months we had of pure love, 7 days a week, we were connected by the phone

6 times I tried to let you go, but my heart just couldn’t say no
5 minutes without you felt like an eternity
And I can’t count the days I cry before going to sleep

Maybe in another life we will be forever and ever
If it’s not in this world, I will find a way to be together

4 seasons passed, but my love remains
3 words I couldn’t say, and I won’t deny

2 hearts beating as one under the same light
1 love story written in the stars
Looking at us from the sky

0 regrets, just memories that shine
I’m another life, you will always be mine
Every moment with you felt so right
No distance can keep us apart
So in the stars we will be reunited
