Brandi Reynolds Poem
The sun does rise; I open my eyes.
A new day has come; I stretch on my vine.
I spread myself to soak in the rays.
In quiet splendor, in silent praise.
A new day has come, I continue to bloom,
where I am planted, where I am true.
I follow the sun as it warms my face,
with its bright rays and warm embrace.
As the sun sets, I close up my bloom,
until another day starts up anew.

Brandi Reynolds Poem
My love is like cyanoacrylate glue,
Wherever you go, it sticks to you.
You can't wash it off, it's always there,
It's on your skin; it's in your hair.
Soap and water cannot free you,
and it will never truly leave you.
It permeates your clothes,
and everything you do.
My love is like cyanoacrylate glue,
Once it is given, it covers you.

Brandi Reynolds Poem
Good night, sweet kitty.
It is time for us to sleep.
The moon is out, the day is done,
It's time for us to dream.
What is that crash, oh furry one?
You say you see a bug?
I've looked and looked, nothing is there,
Are you sure it wasn't a dream?
I'm startled awake by an apparition,
a screech, a snarl, a scream
A furry streak of puffed-up fur,
a wailing and a keen.
It seems I forget to leave out treats,
Oh, how bad of me.
As the moon watches the exchange,
the cat reprimands me.
Here's your treat, my goblin child,
Oh, please forgive your servant, me.

Brandi Reynolds Poem
Dear Sonny, when you close your eyes one last time, and bid this world adieu,
know I am glad for the time I had
that I could spend with you.
Dear Sonny, when you close your eyes one last time, and you come apart,
Know you'll stay with each new day
living always in my heart.

Brandi Reynolds Poem
Looks like a fiery fractal on a background of black,
Spiraling out from a light blue sphere center,
Full of light, yet also dark. An image of wonder.
A fiery fractal composed of stars and planets,
yet looks so very foreign. A galaxy, not so
unlike our own yet feels rather lonely and forlorn.
Why so much darkness when there is so much light?
Much like the human condition.
