Where the Sky Breaks

Atop the edge where silence leans,
A figure stands — the dusk between.
No name, no face the canvas shows,
Just wind that hums what no one knows.

The sky explodes in molten fire,
A final gasp of day's desire.
It stains the clouds in crimson breath,
A masterpiece that flirts with death.

Does he await or does he grieve?
Or dream of flight he can't achieve?
The brushstroke speaks, but not too loud —
He’s part of sky, yet not a cloud.

He watches time with open chest,
The sun, the fall, the endless rest.
Yet still he stands, the final spark—
A question burning through the dark.

The beginning or The end?

The wind stood still, the stars held breath,
Two voices rose in life and death.
One whispered start, one thundered close,
Each pulled the soul where no one knows.

Beginning sang with morning light:
"Come rise with me, embrace the fight.
Your dreams are seeds; they’ve just been sown—
Why fear the path you’ve never known?"

End replied in velvet tone:
"But peace is found when all is done.
Rest comes not to those who chase,
But those who’ve run and found their place."

Beginning cried: "You’ll miss the climb!
The pulse of hope, the dance of time!
The pain you dread brings stars to life—
A masterpiece is born through strife!"

End then sighed: "And yet I soothe.
I silence storms, I gently move.
I wrap you in the quiet night—
No need to fight, no need for flight."

The soul stood torn, with heart in hand,
Two roads ahead, one final stand.
Then with a breath, a step, a flame—
It turned to life and called its name:

"I choose the fire, I choose the climb,
I choose the scars, the test of time.
Let endings wait, I've more to give—
I choose to rise, I choose to live."

The End stood still, then bowed its head,
And whispered low, “We’ll meet,” it said.
But far ahead, where dreams ascend—
The soul had found its new begin.

The Fog of Lost Souls

In shadows thick where silence weeps,
The fog rolls in—its secret keeps.
A mournful veil, a breathless moan,
It swallows light, leaves hearts alone.

This cursed ground, where echoes stay,
Of laughter lost and minds astray.
A prison forged from sorrow’s seam,
Where memories drift like half-formed dreams.

No stars to guide, no dawn to see,
Just whispers caught in memory.
Each step you take, a thought relives—
The pain, regret, what fate forgives.

Beware the one who moves unseen,
With spider grace and gaze serene.
Koh, the thief of what you wear—
Your face, your past, your vacant stare.

To show emotion is to fall,
To vanish in his silent thrall.
And once you smile, or frown, or cry,
You’ll vanish with the souls that lie.

So hush your heart, and mask your flame,
Or you’ll forget your very name.
For in this fog where lost souls tread,
The living envy even the dead.
