Pink matter

Just a container for the child?
Just someone who you can come home to?
Like it or not she means more to me than that
Had this ache only she can cure, had this fever she’d be able to control
She was my strength, my stability, my will to keep going.
Why’d I have to go and ruin it?
Both didn’t want to end it but it was needed to heal and grow as people.
How much is one supposed to give until it’s enough.
How much can we give of ourselves until we’re gone.
But since she’s been gone I’ve lost stability of the world around me.
She was my lucky rabbits foot, and now I’m all out of luck.

Unrequited love

How am I supposed to feel after expressing it.
It’s so bad, this unrequited love.
I yearn to have you love me but it’ll never happen.
Why must I be so close to you yet so far, for now I hold onto you, but how long can I keep going.
It’s a bad religion to be in love with someone who doesn’t love you back.
Had you also had feelings for would things be different or would we both be too destructible for each other.
This love for you is so far deep that I can’t help but pray that one day you’ll wake up to love me back.

To the moon and back

So far from you yet I reach out like you were right here. Nothing shined brighter than you not even the sun.
And as bright as you are I still lost you, yet sparks brought me back to you but when I returned I was too late.
You shined so bright you became the moon to share your light.
No longer could I reach you, I could only watch as you prospered into something greater than I could ever be.
We were so opposite yet we worked. Life was greater with you and worse without you but even so, I’d still love you to the moon and back.

Start it over

Old yet young, accomplished yet diminished.
Regret with anger and pain, life hasn’t started and yet it feels as it has ended before it has begun.
Has it ended for the mistakes I made or because I will have to live a life without you. Is life worth living for if you do not exist in mine.
Dull colors is what I now see, yet with you life was full of color and with it full of joy.
Life can be beautiful without you but it will not be the same, If I were to start it over I’d start over with you.

Black hole

Why can’t I exist without you? Each time I try to leave you suck me back up into your blackhole.
Can’t help but love you for the way you make me feel
it’s like a loop of love and I’m stuck in it, swirling around your finger and getting caught up with you once more.
But I can’t help but be a fool for you when you treat me so good yet so bad,
All I ever was is a person you could wrap your fingers around.
And each time I escape you swallow me back up. There is no escape from this blackhole that you have carved into your heart.
