The greatest of gifts

Sat alone again, sipping a few
The old whiskey jar
It's as empty as you
Now you're gone I can see
All that you did
Just one more day
To be your friend

They say to live
Each day as your last
The reality is
We're all tied to a mast
Don't dream away
These ideas that you have
Because the moment is now
Just remember to laugh

I think it's the greatest of gifts
If you've got some then share it with friends
We don't know when this ride will end
Just where it begins

We don't have much time
To have a good time

Waiting for the call

Waiting for the call

Time is the coin of life
Spend it wisely

Who's to blame?
Now they know your game.
Ain't it strange
That we need to be framed.

We need to escape
To a house by the sea
To get away from the
The other you and me
To be free

It's easy to say
Not so easy to see

Waiting for the call

Here right now

You don't need to be, anybody else but you
Because only you can see, what the world is to you
You take all you know, and apply it life
Because what you're looking for, is a way to survive.

My mother said son, why do you worry so young?
For you don't need to think, about the earth so deep.
Though if you insist son, then I will help you along,
For anyday now son, well darling, you could be gone.

But you're here right now.
You're here right now that's all that's relevant she'd say,
Keep on the road to be free everyday.

Go

By the light
By the touch of your skin
I now feel warmth
For myself
For our future insight
Always been on the run

Take a ride
Take a step outside your world
It feels like your free
You can live
Everyday how you please
Take some time for your soul

As you awake
To the daylight in your heart
All you feel is love
Pick a life
Pick a job and a car
Don't lose hold of yourself

Go.

Two pumps a revolution and a squirt

I really would like to sit down and drink a beer with a cigarette
All I want is to choose for myself
But we can't do this and we can't do that
I think they're really trying to steal all our fun
They call this England, I call it a surveillance state prison.

Where the drunk drinks yet damns drugs
he claims another benefit
the bankers are lying
they're going to bring the country down
People are dying for these profiteering wars.

A mother lost another son, we're lied to buy our government
The houses are up, the jobs are low
The poor man takes another blow
Another revolution is about to come and go!

Just for one night my friends
roll the dice
come on play the game
Side by side we should stand
My friends, we will sing

Bubble burst

If you want
To go out
Have a drink
Shake a leg

Take a bet
Take a chance
Win or lose
Have a dance

I don't really care

I don't care
All that much
Come and go
 it - so?

Have a run
Getting fit
I don't really
Give a...

What do you want
Do you know
Please yourself
Let it - go

Take a risk
Feet first
Jump right in
Bubble - burst

If you think about, how you live your life
What do you want to leave behind?
I want to see the world, I want to know that I
Did the very best that I could

I pissed myself
I'm getting old
It was warm
It went - cold

Do you love?
Is that enough?
Are you the one?
I think I'm done.

Within oneself

If I did not see it
Was it there at all?
I thought I heard the flutter of wings
Did I not hear the sound of a call?
The song of a bird
Nor an angel or worse?
If I did not hear it
Am I my own curse?
