Mom

Mom, you are my role model
Raising me to a young woman, from a little girl
Step by step, day by day
You've done a great job, in so many ways

When I need someone, you are always there
I never have to doubt that you care
I can always tell you what i'm thinking of
Mom, you have my love

You raised me the best you could
Took care of me like any good mother would
You brought me in this world, guided me through life
Giving me the things every kid needs to survive

You righted me when I was wrong
many times you helped me stay strong
Like many mothers, you've tried your best
And mom, i'd say you passed the test

Raising four girls by yourself
Must have been harder than I could inmagine
But obviously you knew just where to begin
And for that i'll love you to the end.....

To Late Not To Fall

Laying here in bed at night
Pulling the covers around me so tight
Watching the candlelight fire dancing
Playing wildly on my ceiling
Inching down my walls
And I think it's about time to give it my all

It's too late not to fall
You've pulled me in, heart and all
Maybe it's the wrong thing to do
Wanting to spend my life with you
May be the wrong move to make, the wrong shots to call
But now it's too late not to fall

I quietly listen to the sound of my breathing
The love struck pound of my heart beating
Like a soft secret whispering
Of mysteries between you and me

No more than this sounds through the night
But in the void of the dark there is still a light
And your love feels me with a soothing lullaby
A hypmotizing song of you and me
Engulfs me in a suductive love sea

While lying here with this all surrounding me
Past hurts I just can't remember to see
I only let go and dream
Of your promises of good things yet to come
and I anxiously wait for each and every one

It's too late not to fall
You've pulled me in, heart and all
Maybe it's the wrong thing to do
Wanting to spend my life with you
May be the wrong move to make, the wrong shots to call
But now it's too late not to fall.....

Light Up My World

I sit and watch the clouds uncover the sky
It yawns awake, and I take in the light
As it kisses the sky

I let the beauty take my breath away
It reminds me of your love
And how you steal my heart, day by day

Like the sun, you light up my world
Now that I have loved you, my life meant nothing before
As easily as the moon and stars
Your love shines through the dark
Honey, you light up my world

I breath in the lullaby
As the morning wind glides on by
And the earth's first hello touches me so deeply I think I could cry
Just like a song playing
Through my heart for you and me

I thank God everyday
For you are his gift given to me time after time
With each morning's sweet rhyme.....

Nightly Yearning

♥
I lay in bed at night
You entangled at my side
Palm upon your chest
Truth radiates beneath
Devotion's fingertips
Rhythmic heartbeats
Love's breeze
Gliding through strands of hair
♥
I lay awake
Hours
Can't seem to sleep
Your breath escapes
To dance across my soul
Your heart breaths
Inside of me
♥
I lay in thought
Little fantasies
Shivers
As my whole being stalls
Waiting for your dreams to call
Longing
Hoping
For that light brush across my head
A moment before
Your lips seek mine through the dark
♥
This inevitable kiss
Arms folding around
I've laid awake
Waiting just for this
For I can't bare to close my eyes
A moment before this nightly embrace
I don't dare sleep
Until your beloved smile
Unties those precious words
♥
This twilight game
You like to play
Emotion
Waiting
Guarded
Aching
To be released
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I LOVE YOU!!!!!!
♥

Never Hit Rock Bottom

You hurt me so bad I don't know what to do
It's like flying a million miles above, high on love
then jumping without a parachute
But again and again you break my fall
Then it's like the pain never happened at all

You let me down and I go falling
But through the tears, your name, i'm still calling
In front of me, our times together flash
And I just know i'm going to crash
But then you hold me near and erase all the fears
What was wrong, i'd already forgotten
And again I realize, i'll never hit rock bottom

baby, this love is so unpredictable
With a mix of pain and pleasure, it's unbelievable
You love me, you don't, you'll break my heart, you won't
So many thoughts run through my head
But you leave me with just one when I lay down each night for bead
No matter what we'll never hit rock bottom

Honey, together we belong
This love has got to be strong
Cause no matter how we fight
We are in eachother's arms by the end of the night

Without you I wouldn't know what to do
I know we'll make it through
When at the end of each day of pain
There is still happiness to be found
When my life has turned upside down
And my world is shadowed and dark
You light the way and mend my heart

So I still believe
That we'll spend this life together, you and me
Cause the assurance i've still gotten
That when I fall you'll never let me hit rock bottom.....

Love Is a Storm

Love is a storm coursing through my veins
Running through my brain
Winding its way over my heart
Love is a storm raging out of control
Twisting through my body, part by part
Love is a storm

I can hear its thunder strike in me
Comes as my heart beat when you're next to me
I can see the lightening strike reflect through your eyes
As out bodies mold, unite, yours one with mine
I can feel its currents race to devour me
Drownding me in the relaxing downpour of our love

Love is a storm coursing through my veins
Running through my brain
Winding its way over my heart
Love is a storm raging out of control
Twisting through my body, part by part
Love is a storm

Our love is a storm with its constant drumming lullaby
Its wind whispering a satisfied sigh
Its confort, its peace
Our love is a storm
As it is a pure and unexplainable need

Our love is a storm I couldn't live without
I'd never want to anyhow
The power, the excitment, the ups, the downs
It is a part of me, making up all that I am
A thread helping to piece together my soul
Without that storm I just wouldn't be whole

Love is a storm
The emotion is entrancing as it waves around us us
Our love is a storm.....

Summer Music

I sit beneath the sun as it beams a hello
How God created such a painting
I can't begin to know

I take it all in as the wind dashes away
The clouds roll by, just wanting to play
I let the beauty take me over
As the air picks up the summer flower's oder

The breeze ruffles the heads of the trees
The birds chip their precious melody
And the warmth embraces me
As nature's music plays through earth and sky

Summer's music in harmony
How much more lovely could it be
The peacfulness of all creation
Singing in a band so perfect
For summer's ongoing music.....

Drifting Into You

Warmth ignited
Rising Passion
From brushing fingertips

Exploring emotions
Slipped beneath
Heated cloth

Racing.. hearts beating
Beneath caressing palms
Quivering lips.. united in dance

Trapped time
Escaping whispers
Taken breath against necks

Longing.. Aching
For three words
I yearn to hear before I may sleep
Unrequited
(Yet unsaid for the night)
But, right there on the edge

Beautiful angst
Gracefully broken
Repaired every night
Through those endless crystal eyes
Sweet agony with each unleashed smile

Lost upon grounds
Of mesmerising love
Searching for no escape
Dreaming to never wake
I've forgotten all life before you

One soul gone forever
Replaced by a mingling duet
Melting into open arms
Drifting into you
Never wishing to return......

Baby

I had a dream of you, my precious baby
Of holding you tight, keeping you safe all night
You'd be my first, my miricale baby

Your tiny fingers, your little glowing eyes
A smile to shine as bright as the stars that light my night
My special baby

When you learn to crawl
Your first walk
The very first words i'd hear you utter

Your first birthday, and every holiday
Mommy, daddy, play with me
My darling baby

To feel you kick inside of me
Your first breath, your little heartbeat
A gift from God, taking place
The eagerness to see your smiling face

The joy it brings to sing you to sleep
The warmth egnited from the innocent love of a child
Watching you grow day by day
Lighting your world, leading your way
Everything you'd ever want, ever need
I'd gladly give my life for you, my baby

Every feeling i'd ever recieve
From loving you, my dear, I felt in one night's dream
But i'll never get to live the end
Because Your life in this world wasn't able to begin

All this said, I wish was only a dream
But honey, this was a reality corrupted by me
I never meant to hurt you, if only i'd known you were there
If only you knew how much I care

You'll forever stay in my dreams
I'm sorry, my beloved baby.....

Keepsake

Two and a half years already passed us by
I can't believe all this time gone with you by my side
I sit and gather all our treasured memories
Hold them close to my heart
All the while I anticipate our future with open arms

Dreams of babies
Saying "I do", you and me
A little dog, a cozy home
Knowing you'll never be alone
Baby, our life together
That's my keepsake

Some would say that love slows down
After you've been together
Well honey for me it only gets better
I can't even see my life before you
And I wait for dying with you to come true
My heart is yours to forever take
You're my keepsake

Some have little china glass
A hand made dress
A pretty chest overfull of their future life appliances
I have only our happiness
It's all i'll ever need
Cause you and I
That's my keepsake.

Our life
Is my only keepsake.....
