When I Get Where I'M Going

When I get where I'm going
I'll no longer feel the pain
There will be only sunshine
Not another drop of rain
When I get where I'm going
I'll be happy all the time
All this heartache, all this hurt
Will be erased from my mind
When I get where I'm going
All things will seem so right
I'll never spend another
Sleepless, endless night
When I get where I'm going
I won't shed another tear
I'll be with the ones we've lost
And all held so very dear
When I get where I'm going
I'll forget I felt abandoned
I won't cry because its over
I'll smile because it happend

Faceless Soul

I look in the mirror
And all that I see
Is a faceless soul
Staring back at me
How did this happen
Where did I go
When did I lose myself
Does anyone know
Will I be found
Before it's too late
Where will I end up
What is my fate
Can anyone hear me
Is anyone there
Can anyone help me
Does anyone care

The Plan

God had this wonderful plan
About true love between a woman and a man
And he picked up to play the parts
And mended bothe our shattered hearts
He taught us what love is all about
And now we know without a doubt
How truely wonderful life can be
When two people love like you and me
True love like ours will never die
It only grows stronger as time goes by
When you're down and feeling blue
Just remember how much I love you
When nothing seems to go your way
Think about us at the end of the day
When life starts to get you down
Smile, think positive, turn it around
Think about the future, forget the past
Remember "The Plan" we are the cast
I'll be here for you, I'll be your crutch
Because I love you at least that much
Each day I thank this wonderful man
For he set up this awesome plan

Yesterday

It seems like only yesterday
We were so in love
Nothing could get in our way
We had the world on a silver platter
We had it made nothing else mattered
But now you're gone
We rarely mention your name
Everything is so different
Nothings the same
You walked out of my life
With nothing to say
I'm still haunted
By that dark, dark day
I'll never understand
How you just walked away
When we were so in love
Just yesterday

Highway 65

I'll never forget that dreadful day
Your mother called your father to say
The angels had come to take you away
And left two crosses along the highway
At the time we had no clue
The second cross meant Meg would be joining you
She was still with us for a short while
Then gone too was her beautiful smile
It seemed you were gone without a trace
Leaving us with only memories of your beautiful face
And a void in our hearts, nothing can replace
I'm dead inside, no longer alive
Part of me died, with you
On highway 65
