Katrina Walters Poem
As she raised her translucent, fairy’ish wing, allowing the moonbeams to pass through
the chiffon fluttered gleefully waving to the lightening bugs,
‘twas then the magic began;
To behold such elegance amidst the night
Caused me to ponder the fate of her, will you stay, dear sir?
Can a sight this luxurious continue to last I wondered while observing
the interchange ‘tween delicate nymph and luminous creatures,
there they played their silent game;
I cannot tell when they finally ended
Their most infectious conversation, but what elation!

Katrina Walters Poem
He watches, observes and loves with all his heart
Reservedly waiting to see reciprocation or active participation
Thinking, offering ideas for all to embrace,
Satisfaction to behold and a joy that floods his young face.
Considering others in wake of their pain
He goes the extra mile to ensure protection and such detailed accomplishment
While allowing others to make their own mistakes,
He reflects a sweet combo of trust and consideration.

Katrina Walters Poem
What’s the point? she asked.
It could be a simple solution, he quipped.
With much to do and little to gain,
The effort remained unattainable rain.
So onward she strove
Observed by those who stood beyond the boundaries
Doing much and yet ignoring them
She left having been a bothersome chagrin.

Katrina Walters Poem
There is a soul that He doth see
It lies buried deep within
Who can see through my sullen eyes
The fatigue, the fear, the deception.
I held it close for fear of those
Seeing raw, obvious truth
For once can I let it go? No…
I might try, but trust now needs to flow.
His eyes pierced through my aching cell
I exchange my truth for His
Fear all at once leaves my heart, oh!
What joy I feel, “‘tis well with my soul!”

Katrina Walters Poem
Leisurely running
Scrumptious donuts and ice cream
Pounds pile on me
