Jerome Finley Poem
I never was suppose to love you. You were married and I was young knew was wrong but it
felt so right. When I look into your eyes all I seen was a bright future/We were the same our
only difference was our genders/We compliments each other so well to the point I really
start it to believe in angels you were my angel/Then the storm came you lost your job and
house so I felt like it was my turn to be your angel/But I guess you had other plans/We start
to get distance more and more arguments and disrespectful was being said/Trying my
hardest to fight for us because I never love like this before/I always appreciate everything
you done for me and just how cool of a person you were/When went places our vibe was so
strong people would think we were married/Even though we wasn’t it felt good that we
looked so good together and gave off such good energy/Sometimes I wish life was DVR so I
can capture the moments and fast forward through the bad /Don’t know how to end this so
I’m leave it just like this

Jerome Finley Poem
(To be alive is one thing but to live is another) born into world where settlement rules out purpose for life. Which leads to the one percent controlling the world. Which leads to society being comfortable with the current conditions and obstacles place in front of them. Which leads to no room for greater evolution. Which leads to turmoil amongst our culture and our community. Which leads to crime in America and manipulation of minds. Which leads to no hope for most.

Jerome Finley Poem
One World
Its one world but I'm living in two/
Confused don't know where my life is going/
Trying to stay on the right track/
Got God in one ear Devil in other/
Seems like the devil is winning right now/
Heart turning cold winter/
But I like sun shine so am I'm freezing right now/
Using Je'tye as motivation/My faith playing door bell ditch/
Greed sitting in my lap so no room for prosperity/
Dreams running through my mind trying hard to accomplish them/
But fog keep appearing so I cant see how close they are

Jerome Finley Poem
My Eye ‘s failed me how could they let me down like that/I show them nothing but beautiful
things /I open them when they want and close when they want/How come they couldn’t see
this/I wish I could purchase some new ones but I’m loyal to old one’s/We saw a lot of things
stared at asses together and saw money together and my future/So how come we didn’t see
she was right for me together /It was like we were on two different pages/Do my eyes only
see beautiful things and blinded to the bad/Was this the classic heart VS conscious so we
what they seen/Who knows I just hope we back on track again
