Synonymous

I put the ear in tear so you can hear my pain
synonymous with years of nonstop rain

what appeared as sincere slandered my name
synonymous with phlebotomy, it was all in vain

an unknown flood that drowned my confidence
synonymous with being anonymous

masked, disguised, escaping the consequence
synonymous with a fugitive fleeing the continent

guilty as charged, behind bars, waitin´
synonymous with self condemnation

eyes in the law library, with the law in observation
a verdict synonymous with self vindication

Its Greek To Me

I have skeletons in my closet like Yale in its campus
with satelites in outter space like CBS has cameras

scrutinizing humanity like anthropology with no apology
unifying the insanity of lovers of wisdom with my philosophy

i´m a firm believer in dressing to impress
blowing your mind like wind in the flesh

my skull n bones symbolize death
they call me neckros

laid out to rest
but brought back like i was retro

i close my eyes, pray and hear an echo
its just me and Theos building

¨Save me from the villians¨
Dameon is the pnuemonia of a python
its a breath of fresh air when I write on

the notebook, the page, the line i put my life on
i call it Greek

Rose

Roses are read and violets are heard/ trying their hardest to put bullets into words/ twisting
biblical passages into lyrical massacres/ assasinating characters with the finesse of humming
birds/

Roses are written and violets are drawn/ like guns following the instructions of a yawn/
putting people to sleep like animals, worse than cannibals,/like a botanical sword similar to a
thorn/

Roses are quoted and violets are recorded/ like violence when reported, misguided when i
saw it/ pulling me in like a vacuum put here to teach,/ with the power of a butterfly, in the
belly of the beast/

as i listen to those who are televised
the television has me under control, hypnotized
living my rendition of those who criticize
i´m thinking my opinion is outside the box,
but its not, its inside

i´m boxed in, imprisoned by the devil´s eyes,
my contact lenses, and all i see is lies,
half truths which are fiction in disguise
a leading role too evil to describe?
outside the box?, i think not, its inside

comedy, action, suspence, tears,
a soundtrack that complements my ears
i call it C.A.S.T., a cast of your own peers
auditioning to heal the wounds inflicted
on you through the years

as i opened my eyes i still had them shut
thinking the dream was over, thinking
¨I´ve had enough¨
not knowing I was still asleep, still cuffed
began to think outside the box and woke up

as i opened my eyes i found that box
and turned it off,
turned it back on and put my life on pause
taking a moment to think
outside the box
