Becky West Poem
Two little birds sat in a tree
Their feathers held bits and pieces of old memories
One was young and full of energy
But the other one reminded you of me
She had tired eyes and battle scars
A little smile masking a broken heart
But her spirit was free
So she still reminded you of me
She was young, but she felt old
She was young, but she felt done many lifetimes ago
She was pretty, but she had to be
Does she still remind you of me?
The other one reminds me of you
Because he didn’t know what she was going through

Becky West Poem
Nothing scares me more than losing you
But do you think about this as much as I do?
I feel like I have found a diamond in the rough
But I can never tell if you have had enough
Enough of this
Enough of me
Should I get used to feeling this lonely?
Nothing scares me more than losing you
But do you think about this as much as I do?
I don’t want to be “too much”
So promise me you haven’t had enough
Enough of this
Enough of me
I don’t want to get used to feeling this lonely
Nothing scares me more than losing you
And I fear you don’t think about this as much as I do
