Lilita Wali Poem
A half of me I cannot remove
nor can I replace.
Her smile twinkles the most
Just as her eyes spots pain within.
She’s a book filled with interesting chapters
A cover with no filter.
A gift from God I cannot replace
Her Presence became my presents.
She shares my heart in every form .
Her hugs as warm as custard pudding
The one I can never replace.
Akhona- her presence
A half of me I cannot replace.

Lilita Wali Poem
Allow me to let that pain go away.
Allow me to supply you with consolation.
Receive me , authentic and raw.
Accept the warmth of my tender plea.
I’m unveiling my soul , vulnerable and bare,
to let you behold me, without disguise or care.
If your heart resonates , listen to its gentle tone,
and love me for who I am , entirely my own.
But if your heart doesn’t sing in harmony with mine,
Liberty awaits, set me free from love’s confine.
Spare me the sorrow that an unrequited love brings,
And let me soar , unencumbered , to love again.
Love’s journey, not it’s destination , defines us.
