Orchards of the Moonlight

Jasmine blossomed
from the concrete of heaven
while angels sing soft melodies
that land on the intimacy of my soul

My eyes left perplexed
captivating the presence of this beauty
from a gentle smile that falls from the petals
of this delicate flower

The warmth of my heart, declared
from the rays of the sun
and shine my aura with pleasant moonlighted conversations
that Eden has excited me with

I'm lost in the trance of this moment
brought upon the rain from the clouds
that fog all existence of impressions
left behind in departed memories of love

The roses in my garden have expired
to leave way for this fresh plantation to grow
indulging it's direction to a whole new production
of spiritual maturity

I may have fallen in love with a desperate recognition
my past has barricaded in the sands
from the sight of this acquired exhibit
that delivers passion to my universe

I'm left in purity for this appeasing flower
to teach me examples I've lost in the historical moments
of my sanity caused by the white wine
that shut out the seeds of my obliterated memories

Blooming the center of my tender retentivity
with a sensual touch that calms
the reflection of the beaming solar system
the world has equipped to my spirits

Declining all invitations to submissive pain
I've known in the past
and accepting this development as a greeting
to a new born creation

She is my flower and I am her essence
and together,
we conform in collaboration
to create a presence of ravishing affection

Exposed in this garden of perfection...

The Mushy Poem

I'm left spellbound with her beauty
Speechless moments encounter each inspired attraction
Engaging our passion with mother nature
As the birds tweet familiar love songs
Smirks grow gently across her cheeks
Leaving me soundless as every smile across her face
Melts tender spots in my heart
Whispering poetic metaphors that leave me love struck
Sending me to heaven with the simplicity in her eyes and
Divined silhouettes that travel around our souls
Attaching our imperfections perfectly together
I'd rather make this moment in time last forever
Than to outlive another second without her
Desired kisses entangle sweetness between our sins
And her poetic beauty speaks to me through our intimate moments
Enchanting the essence of love at first sight and
Submerging our resistance for one another
To form butterflies that swarm in my stomach
Leaving me a hopeless romantic for her lips
Pursuing conversation with the stars
While the moon glitters across her halo
Laying in the sand as the ocean's wave utters mild hello's
Her purest thoughts mend their way through the tingles of my flesh
Stroking her curves across the shore and glistening her skin
While she resides her essence peacefully against my torso
Sound asleep to the sound of every thump that my heart beats
"Baby..."
She speaks to me in her dreams...
The sound of her voice leaves me with a sweet gentle tear of joy
That drops from my vision
And instills itself in the palm of her hand...
This is a love I can't understand so
I continue to ask myself,
Why should I have to wait until the next lifetime to fulfill her deepest wishes?
If I'm blessed, I'll be honored to share her emotions in this lifetime and the next....

Welcome To Freedom (Political Piece)

*** First and foremost, I had to edit this piece a bit because of the profanity in the
original version (however, I will follow the rules) This piece was based on several
images of children that were shot because of the Israel-Palestinian conflict in the middle
east. i do not mean to offend anyone with my work, and if so, I do apologize. I would
link the pictures, but I see that's against the rules too. I hope you all enjoy!

Bullet's ricochet through babies flesh
Blood splattered his age on the pavement
Tattooed the mother's hands with the assassin's name
Silent cries echoed through Jerusalem
As his bones shattered to feces
Chest burns as the last breath of innocence is inhaled
Dusting his ashes through the hills of Bethlehem
Through the mist of the familiar laughter coming from the militant vocals
Church bells ring and prayers are enchanted
Because another infant's longevity to life has failed
Killing these children one by one
Has become a heroin addiction to the Zionist system
Shooting needles injected with bullet wounds and missiles
Gunshots travel through the pulmonary chamber
Leaving these children to numbness, blind visions and darkness
One way tickets to Heaven
Where his fellow brothers and sisters greet him at the gate
"Welcome to freedom" is inscribed on his name plate
He asked God why his time approached so soon
And silence lingered it's way through the clouds
Before he heard an angel speak aloud
"Medical physicians couldn't save you because it was a second too late"
And the clouds begun to shed rain storms
Angels and children crying, hand in hand
While humming warm scriptures from the Qu'ran
*********
The reality of this is simple,
A different young "terrorist" gunned to their casket
Satisfied the militants statistics
Now their count is one closer to a million...

Butterfly Garden

Pictures of us
Revealed that we were once in love
Partaking in butterfly kisses
Strolls in the park
And intimate moments that I thought
Would have never came to an end

She was more than just my lover
As we tried to mend happiness
That shouldn't have been tampered with
However she pretended instances of felicity
Just to keep me pleased
'Till one day, she reached a point
Where she could no longer stand the confusion
Caused by illusions she provoked her mind to believe

So quietly,
She set me free

I felt like a rose garden
Trembled by a snow storm
As I stood there in solitude
And let my petals fall vigorously to the ground
She was no where to be found
And with a soundless voice
I weep'd myself asleep

Confusion caused by illusions provoked my mind to believe
That this was just a never ending dream
And, shall I wake again
My petals will rise and create that beautiful garden
That was shuddered in the mist of my tears

Butterflies peacefully swarming
Lovable kisses that fed the soil for growth
To regain hope for a love that was lost
In this unimagined force

However, as my eyes open
Loneliness was still laying at my bedside
And reality was spoken for
As those unforgettable scriptures
"I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore"
Continued to linger in my ears
