Little Sea Bunny

Fluffy white and small as pearls,
Through ocean waters gently swirls
A tiny slug that looks so sweet—
With bunny ears, oh what a treat!

Not a rabbit, not quite a snail,
Just drifting on the ocean's trail.
Your fuzzy body glowing bright,
Like snowflakes dancing in the night.

Black-tipped ears that sense your way
Through coral gardens where you play,
A living cotton ball so rare,
Swimming without a single care.

Nature's joke or magic spell?
This little darling of the dell
Brings smiles to all who chance to see
This bunny hopping through the sea.

Norwegian Elkhound

Norwegian elkhounds, proud and bold,
With curly tails that wag like gold,
In forests deep, they roam and play,
Hunters of night, they stalk their prey,
In every heart, their love unfolds.

An Orbit of Connections

In the vastness of existence, we wander,
Like planets bound in an age-old dance,
Each heartbeat a revolution, a ponder,
In the gravity of chance and circumstance.

Your laughter, a sun that ignites my skies,
Drawing my spirit in orbits so sweet,
Yet somehow, like comets, we drift, and we rise,
In the tangled paths where our destinies meet.

Time is a force that pulls us apart,
Yet the echoes of moments keep calling us near,
Like celestial bodies, you dwell in my heart,
In the realms where love conquers distance and fear.

Through seasons of change and the pull of our dreams,
We align in the twilight, two stars in the night,
For even in darkness, each flicker redeems,
The essence of life that ignites our flight.

So here’s to the cycles that shape who we are,
To the laws of connection, the pulls and the turns,
For in this grand cosmos, where we’re never too far,
Love’s orbit, a lesson, and endlessly burns.

Light Within Me

I am the glow
That melts the snow,
A flame so bright
In the dark of night.

My spirit shines
Beyond the lines
Of shadow's reach,
A silent speech.

Through storm and shade
I'm not afraid,
For stars above
Flow through my love.

When others fall
I stand up tall,
A beacon clear
For those who fear.

My heart beams light
With pure delight,
A sacred flame
None can tame.

Feed the Birds

On Februarys third, when winter bites,
We set our tables for feathered flights.
Seeds scattered wide on frozen ground,
Draw tiny visitors from all around.

Cardinals flash their crimson capes,
While chickadees and finches take
Their turns at feeders swinging free,
A backyard birds jamboree.

Sunflower seeds and millet spread,
Like nature's feast of daily bread.
The juncos hop through drifted snow,
While woodpeckers tap high and low.

This simple act of kindness shows
How care through bitter winter flows.
For in these days of frost and chill,
We keep our wild friends' bellies filled.

So fill your feeders, spread the word,
Today's the day to feed a bird.
A handful shared with wings above
Returns a thousand songs of love.

Ghostly Heart

In shadows deep, a ghostly heart yearns,
For love unspoken, felt but never seen.
A mortal soul, unaware of the burn,
In dreams they wander, where the spirit's keen.
Through whispered winds, the ghost's soft love will turn,
A gentle touch, a presence felt between.
Though eyes are blind to what the heart can know,
In silent nights, their bond begins to grow.
