Maanvinder Pilania Poem
Oh! Behemoth tyrant set her free
From the cage of her plight she’s trapped in,
Fields of coal cannot end the hunger
And rivers of oil cannot quench the parched,
Seas full of the perished and soil lacking air
lungs smoking gun and ash from fire,
he, who must pay the price for the greed
and the crime will bring his demise,
one shall not questions its power
its force will submerge you under water

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
am i worthy to be one of your poems?
i see that you call yourself a poet now?
with difference being we no longer write back to each other
regrets, heartbreaks and the hearts that you broke
you paint those lines with the weight you bore
did your heart ever ache on my thought?

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
I’m just a side character in my own story
The heart of someone I know beats for someone else
I’m watching it all unfold from the sidelines
I knew the risk I was taking, I keep telling my heart—
But the weight of my tears feels too heavy to carry
So I let them rain again for you tonight
You have beautifully haunted my life
I thought I was finally going to make you mine

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
Dear readers,
i now recite a tale, a poem,
aviothic wishes, made from the glass
to hang in the hall, where peoples dance
if i rephrase it, i'm a mirroball
i carry the weight of my emotions and thoughts
the moon dancing around blue earth,
a mirroball in the space
shinning bright till the eclipse hit it
i'm fine till the mirroball breaks
i know i'm in pain but i'll still smile
shine like a star that never turns dark
you know,
the star has a work to do,
because down there somebody is looking for
something to look at
to calm their inner storm & be at rest

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
You never wanted to hear me out,
neither in the beginning nor in the end
But I stood at your door,
and so you stood your ground
"You never loved me," you mouthed with a stupid face
I apologized to you as many times
as there are stars in the sky,
but the dark clouds obscured your view,
so my love remained hidden in plain sight
even when I was gone you held your flag above our grave

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
I have this picture of you—or should I say, I own this picture of you—
that I have kept hidden in my chambers,
neither inside my diary nor within a vault,
but frozen in time within my mind.
It is both painful and lovely to watch,
my lingering feelings keeping me tied to it.
Yet, all it brings me now are memories that ache.
"You're sitting and smiling, posing for a picture,
your eyes concealed behind silver glasses.

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
my dead silent heart
and covered in magoa
longing for something beautiful
that can lethe my pain
and set me free
a savior is all i seek
who can cast the right spell
who can revive a soul dead
who can fulfill broken promises
who can stop the rain red

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
loudest was the music from her parties
loudest was her audacity
to come in a town
and challenge the town’s rules
stole neighbor’s dog
and sent a clear message
her degraded reputation
and unnoticed kindness
got her a tag of mad woman
never scared of bringing change
Now a role model
For women in her age

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
death came from rattle snakes
build a fort just to dig his grave
air became thinner inside
with every single inhale
mesmerised by the good feeling
his obscured vision of love
couldn't differ between words or places
memories that still haunt him at dawn
one common bite and 100 different faces
excruciating pain and smile on their faces
black dahlia flourished in my rose garden
my eyes rained, someone punctured the cloud
scandals that can ruin lives, lies that can take lives
a friend is not a friend of yours
beware of those snakes
who befriend you and kill your soul

Maanvinder Pilania Poem
staring into your eyes but 10 seconds seemed bit harder
hot flush from your stare and I felt my cheeks grew warmer
your face slacking happiness and heart covered in dark gray
i wanted to whisper you ‘my love’ and tell you i’m here for you
putting your faith in me, you uttered your agonizing account
if i tell you ‘I love you’, would you let me share your pain?
