The Dinner

Tis' a calamity
A dinner, to which I must oblige
For it was a request of my family
To whom I cannot deny

Mother welcomed me in warmly
Her expression rather wry
Father is late and will be back shortly
And to her I cannot defy

Take a seat, back arched upright
The aroma of Mother's cooking is brimming with life
Mother vigorously encourages me to take a bite
My dear Mother, whom I cannot deny

The chewy meat is roasted dry
With each bite against his flesh
Crimson seeping from Father's eyes
But this is a request of darling Mother, whom I cannot deft

Lest I wish to end up like him

Unease

Leave your comfort
Depart your home
No excitement awaits alone

Stroll along, to the streets
For there lies fun
My only warning is of too much

People may stare but this is no issue
They grin with delight
Your appearance brings a new light

Do not fret
Their malicious gaze
I'm sure they'll take you to a wonderous place

Just be silent
Now stay still
Go to sleep
Forever mine now to keep

Motherhood

My baby, he cries
From dawn to dusk
For all of my tries
Baby will always fuss

My baby, he cries
Being greeted by my face
Somber are your eyes
God please grant me grace

My baby, he cries
Hearing my songs
Whatever I try
Please, why did I do wrong

My baby, he cries
In the face of all my love
My child's tears not shed alone
Mommy adores you even as you fly above

No Stone Left

Gouge the eyes from its sockets
Grate at the flesh
Chip at the bone
Scrape at the marrow
Churn out the intestines
Carve out the remains
Snip at the veins
Drain out the blood
Hack at the crown
Hollow the skull
What are you hiding beneath all of this?

Ambition

Greedy for affection
Such is a sin
Keep still
Stay satisfied
With remnants of love
A heart that yearns
Seldom leads to rejoice
Stay put
Keep complacent
Contentment is no affliction
Know that your desires shall never come to fruition

Justifiable

Swift is the punishment for my injustice
Is this retribution worth the deed
The body shatters, mind collapses
Have I not only enforced what Satan made inevitable
For I have nothing left to give, only to take
My heart has stopped yet it still burns
Wickedness, the embodiment of all who live, seems there is no escape though I lie dead
