Faith can be shaken but never broken.
When we nurture it carefully.
Faith can cause miracles with just a word spoken.
And set every slave and captive free.
Faith is not just a promise or a token.
Faith is believing what we cannot see.

Returning to the Flock

The grass seems greener on the other side, so we sometimes forget that the Lord will provide. We step away from the safety we receive so we step into danger and then we start to grieve. The wolf hides among us and we naively don't see the snare, until we're caught up in the unknown trap, with no help anywhere. We're blessed to have a Shepard to leave the flock behind and go searching for the lost ones to rejoin the ninety-nine. Sometimes each of us stumbles and sometimes each of us strays, but our Shepard is a faithful one and seeks us out always. The grass seems oh so pleasant when we are not satisfied, when we're carried away by stubbornness and blinded by our pride. But the grass is never as good as we think, for it is all the same, and looks can be deceiving, it's part of life's cruel game. So let's stick close to our Shepard, contented and not stressed. We'll lie down in peace and comfort and in safety we will rest.

Time

Time isn't always on our side, at times it seems like we're just along for the ride.
First we're rushing around to get everything done, still working and planning with the setting sun. Then it drags along slowly, with no end in sight, an unending day and an eternal night. Time can be so elusive as it moves in strange ways, sometimes it's like a child as in circles it plays. But time isn't forever, it has it's own end, so we must use it wisely as we plot and we spend. Time isn't always what we believe, the moment you want to stay is the moment you leave, so give time it's respect and give time it's due, for time is most  valuable when used cautiously by you. So smile more and give more, so love more and say more; but more importantly pray more and praise more. Give the Savior his time and spend ours with the Lord, carve out this special time to be renewed and restored. For the biggest mistake you can make and this life's biggest crime is to be too busy with life not to give Jesus His time.

Love

Love is not a game to play, to get what you desire. 
Love is actions and words that show you truly care.
Love is not a careless, reckless fire.
Love should not bring anger or despair.
Love is not used as a bargain.
Love is not used to pretend.
Love is not something you just charge in.
Love is not used to hurt, but mend.
Love is beautiful and precious.
Love is gentle and oh so kind.
Love is not abusive or treacherous.
That's why true love is hard to find.
Love is worth fighting for and seeking.
Love is worth standing  and waiting for.
Love is not just rambling words or careless speaking.
Love will build up and restore.
Everyone needs love from others.
No one is meant to be alone.
So we must give love to our sisters and brothers.
For love learned must be love that's shown.
The best example of love I know.
Is a love that I can feel, but didn't see.
It's the love Jesus came to earth to show us.
When He gave His very all, as He hung and died on Calvary.

The Light That Can't Be Hidden

There is a Light that the world can't hide, so bright and vivid it does glow. 
It changes hearts and heals broken minds, with it's never ending glow.
There is a Light that calls to all, it cannot be ignored or denied.
It patiently waits for that great day when the world is free from greed and pride.
There is a Light that lights all others, shining and burning with peace and love.
It gives It's all to save each life, with a sacrifice that we don't deserve!
This Light is made known by a Book, which has existed through centuries.
It reveals the secrets to those who seek and uncovers many mysteries.
Please find this Light and you will change, from who you are to who you'll be.
This Light can alter your very life and change defeat into victory!
