Despair

Despair; an intrinsic component of human nature, an emotion in which every individual must confront before comprehending the full extent of their fortitude. As dangerous as it may be, there is power in despair.

Despair is an inherent part of the human experience, and it can be a transformative emotion that ultimately reveals our inner strength and resilience.

Despair can be a dark and overwhelming feeling, but it can also be a catalyst for growth and self-reflection. It's through facing and working through despair that we can discover our capacity for resilience, adaptability, and courage.

"Fall seven times, stand up eight." Despair may knock us down; be it unrequited love, loss, misfortune and so on, but it's up to us to rise again, stronger and more resilient than before.

In despair we find the most pessimistic and hardened parts of ourselves. In finding our darker sides we can be, ironically, more whole.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn

WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN

- Suddenly, I awoke,

To the touch and feel of his able hands,

I rose to see a light burning ever,

Neither hot to smolder

nor cold to bother.

Suddenly I approached,

To the ray of light akin to his fable lies,

I felt the despair across the flowing waters,

A sign that mutters

O`what! starts a winter.

- Shedding along the path I tread,

I left behind every pain I dread,

Blowing against me; leaves of cherry blossoms,

Singing with me; birds who breath rebirth,

Seeking to find peace with every step,

In nature's arms I regress.

- I stood afront a lonely road,

Chasing after a dreamy boat,

I caught a smile that would not dim,

Spinning and shining on everyone and thing,

Like a sun whose rays illuminate,

I hoped to be a vacuum in which it radiates.

Life is fun with one so dear,

How beautiful could she get?,

Her dutchess sway and elegant glare,

Keeps my heart in evermore cheer.

- In the blink of an eye,

Everything gone,

In the cold of the night,

Wishes went undone.

Wishing lane

“Thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.” He said,
Filled with milk and honey but overwhelming his expectations - he feared,
Finding peace and solace in its feel of evermore candor-not for-yet made for-in plentiful, he cheered,
Until I sought no more in its unparalleled enchare.

Out the door she gushed and out his heart she made deport,
Staring across the open door, across the hallway with his heart implode,
Laying waste to the mask which clots his eyes afore.
I implore to thee, whose eyes are that of a doe,
Sing into my ears once more and ward off my fiery foes,
Dance with me once more, oh how I MISS YOU so.

Hopeless Allure

In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
Amidst the trees, a whisper'd sway,
The wind, a zephyr, soft and low,
That stirs the leaves, and rustles slow.

The island dreams, in languid sleep,
Its beauty wrapt, in mystery deep,
The moon, a ghost, in silver white,
That glimmers through, the dark of night.

The woman walks, with steps so light,
Her hair, a cloud, that flows behind,
Invites my touch, with gentle, loving light,
Her eyes, two stars, that shine and wind.

The island's heart, beats with her own,
In rhythm sweet, of love unsealed and known,
The trees, like sentinels of old,
Guarding the secrets, of the heart, untold.

In this still place, where love does reign,
The woman's beauty, holds its sweet domain,
And I, a wanderer, in this fair land,
Am bound, a captive, to her enchanting hand.

I love you not

In the most selfish way possible, I want to be the only one who has your heart,
I want to be the one who understands it completely, the one who hold it close,
I don’t want anyone else to feel your touch or the warmth of you just being close,
I don’t want anyone else to kiss your lips, to taste the sweetness that I love,
I want to be the one who kisses you good night and wakes up to you each morning,
I want to be the reason you smile, to catch the light in your eyes, from the smallest things that make you happy,
I want to be the one who brings you happiness, who makes you laugh until you cry, I want us to be in the same book and to end in the same chapter,
I want to be your last everything, I want to be the one you come home to, the one you can’t wait to see.
In the most selfish way possible, I want to be your forever.
