Our Trusting Landlord

This earth
Oh what a curious thing to perceive
Existing within its home, the Universe
A unique, rare and aqueous marble
With a lifespan well surpassing our own
We call it our home, but it is only for rent
Things will begin to change
Humanity will try resist
We are in a system that has long been set in motion
A plan that we cannot stop
Green
What a faction of false hope
A color stained in negativity
Greed, Money, Power, Politics
Oh what a sly plan
A thorn stabbed in the lions paw
Our advantage taken against an orb in suffering
This trusting earth
Telling a secret
Our society
Screaming it to the world

What's Inside Us All....

Anger
What a sulfurous mess of molten evil
Troubles boil and surface
The singing of fine nerves within one’s self
This pushing of restricted buttons
Annoyance, Bitterness, Harm
Can one truly control it?
Stretching into the belly of the beast
Ripping, Tearing, Gouging
At its pivotal moment
A raging bull in a once peaceful town
Monstrous demons
The evils of your mind
Do you let the gates break open?
Shall you release it to the ones around you?
Anger
When controlled, it is an ordinary burning emotion
Yet, when the chains shatter and crack loose…
Oh the more difficult it will be to pick up the pieces

The Blackened

This tale is true and mine. A world
Of wonder and color surrounded me
Long-ago. Bliss, fulfillment and freedom
Dwelled by my side. This picturesque planet,
For a person who renders it useless.

Me: an inmate imprisoned in darkness.
Colors bleed out in streams of absence
As blackness seizes their thrones.
Pictures, paintings and murals are consumed
By infernos of midnight flames.
They serve no purpose. Stripped from
Their homes, oh how the walls stand naked.

Books: letters, burst with ink. Flooding
Pages in wretched shadows, leaving them
Handicapped within this nightmare. Mirrors:
Oh how they no longer haunt my approval,
For my existence is not within them.
This reflective world is so foreign. As I
Do not perceive it. Gleaming light bulbs
Nay not be ignite, as they do not
Illuminate this gloom.

I see the night within the day.
Emotions through sight, dead, they now lay.
For I see nothing, but feel everything
Before me. I’m lifeless, but living.
I shall not exist in a world
Of wonder and color. Only
In a world that is four out of five.
I shall exist in touch and in taste.
In fragrance and in hearing, but blackened
Shall my eyes stay
For its been too long since they’ve gone away.

Hellish Days

I thought I would never again see the sun greet a new day
Now I desperately wish for eternal night.
Betrayed by Newton’s law: an unforgiving justice.
The enemy,
Holding land hostage,
Tainting its innocence.
Damn them for what they made it do!
A product of the Devils hands.
Planted to be a rooted flower;
A metallic flower, waiting to bloom and fulfill its sinful purpose.
A sin that war only creates.
This day, life opened Hells gates.
Smoke, Dirt, Fire and Flesh
All mashed together to form a wretched nightmare;
A downward spiral of stained bandages and painful realizations.
My sons now stand taller from that day on,
For this new life makes me a seated man.
Who knew that one step would forever change my plans.
His betrayal is all I ponder on.
God, I wish for night, but all I’m getting are hellish days

And We Drink!!

With a shot and to a swallow
To chilled from within
A pint with frigid golden jumps
To this a game begins
The orb, a cup shall swallow from
A coin crashed drown to win
A deck, a hand, a cup lift up
In more we drink again!

The Web

The workings of soft, silk strides…
They are left by whom? The twice fourth eyes.
Led souls to thy center of sanguine streams,
To one, words flow out to say what I mean.
In words of organic cords,
Be the melody of a key.
Todays for tonights,
Close eyed in company.
For in rain and in shine,
Twined with the warmth of canopy.
How shall it burn within all of time,
For your love is all I see.
This and all my might,
It be you and only you.
No struggles or angered plights,
The one who sees me through.
You found me like bright kites,
In the air, carried out to you.
For today I can sway in the wind of our days
And glide together towards a life of two.
Where I can say,
I truly love you.

Armed

Be it one who has will
A power to fight
That sand mans kill
One’s own plight

For freedom, it be taken
To this He be not blind
Take shells with centers and break in
Our peace one day we’ll find
