Homeless In the Big City

Insider's Note: When I usually read a poem - I enjoy as much, if it not more knowing how
it was composed. So, here's how I did it. I first collected a series of pictures of the
internet - then went about trying to compose a poem with the one aim: It being as
photographic as I could make it.

And here it is Folks. Enjoy!

In a city where time was precious
And often moved fast,
It moved at a turtle-like pace for him.
He stared as 'they' walked past
'They' wearing business suits and all
And in turn
They stared back
Him lying there on the floor,
The cold pavement warming him
Like a faulty radiator.
His voice rose now
Almost like a duet with the gusty wind
"Mister, could you spare me a couple of..."

Hope you all enjoyed my poem.
