Strength

Strength is not the ability to ignore pain, nor is it the absence of pain and fear. Strength is the ability to be level-headed through pain, while still expressing your pain To cry yet to understand how they are innate human emotions, to understand how the brain will sabotage the heart, and the heart loves to sabotage the brain

I do not want to be here

I do not want to be here where I have to act like my pain is not there
I do not want to be here for no one will ever understand
I do not want to be here for I feel so inferior
Like I am not good enough
I do not want to be here for no one sees me as hurting but merely attention-seeking
I do not want to be here
 for It is lonely here
I do not want to be here for I will never belong
And neither will my lonely song
I don’t want to be here

why do I stay when things don't go my way

Why do I come back time after time, day after day?
Every time I fail, I keep telling myself I will rise above.
At this point, it might be a lie.
Why, oh why, I want to cry out.
So full of doubt.
These words I spout.
Why do I stay day after day?
Why do I stay when things don't go my way?

again

I wake up again
I go to school again
I go to class again
I go home again
I go to sleep again
then I wake up again

A crown of fire

A crown of fire.
Worn by a liar.
A crown of smoke.
Worn by lovely folk.
A crown of plastic.
Worn by one fantastic.
A crown of flowers.
Worn by someone who towers.
A crown of air.
Worn by one so fair.
Still, they will never know they're worthy.
never see their crown.
