A stubborn heart, A loving soul

I fell for a girl, with a heart so bold,
Stubborn and strong-willed, with a spirit to mold.
She'd argue and debate, with a passion so bright,
And though she'd drive me crazy, I'd love her with all my might.

Her eyes would flash fire, when she'd disagree,
And her words would cut sharp, like a knife to me.
But beneath her tough exterior, I'd see a heart of gold,
A loving soul, that was worth more than all the riches to hold.

I'd chase her, and she'd run, with a smile so wide,
And though she'd test my patience, I'd be by her side.
For I knew that beneath her stubbornness, lay a heart that was true,
A heart that beat for me, and a love that shone right through.

So I'll love this stubborn girl, with all of my heart,
And though she'll drive me crazy, we'll never be apart.
For I know that our love, is strong and pure and bright,
And with her by my side, everything's just right.

Love is a rare gift

*"Love's Rare Gift"*

In the tapestry of life, where hearts entwine,
A treasure rare, is love's divine.
Genuine and true, it shines like a beacon bright,
Warming our souls, with its gentle light.

Being loved, is a feeling sublime,
A sense of belonging, that's simply divine.
It's a flame that burns, deep within our core,
Fueling our passions, and our heart's greatest score.

When in love, we feel alive,
Electric sparks, that ignite and thrive.
Every moment, is a gift from above,
A chance to cherish, a labor of love.

Thinking of someone, with a loving heart,
Is a joy that's pure, and never departs.
It's a feeling, that's hard to put into words,
A mix of emotions, that intertwine and blur.

Sacrificing for love, is a noble deed,
A selfless act, that's a love creed.
Giving up, our own desires,
For the one we love, and their heart's fires.

Love's a risk, that's worth taking,
A chance to experience, heart's making.
It's a journey, with ups and downs,
But with love, we wear our heart's crown.

In love's embrace, we find our peace,
A sense of calm, our worries release.

Being loved, is a feeling sublime,
A sense of belonging, that's simply divine.
It's a flame that burns, deep within our core,
Fueling our passions, and our heart's greatest score.

When in love, we feel alive,
Electric sparks, that ignite and thrive.
Every moment, is a gift from above,
A chance to cherish, a labor of love.

Thinking of someone, with a loving heart,
Is a joy that's pure, and never departs.
It's a feeling, that's hard to put into words,
A mix of emotions, that intertwine and blur.

Sacrificing for love, is a noble deed,
A selfless act, that's a love creed.
Giving up, our own desires,
For the one we love, and their heart's fires.

Love's a risk, that's worth taking,
A chance to experience, heart's making.
It's a journey, with ups and downs,
But with love, we wear our heart's crown.

In love's embrace, we find our peace,
A sense of calm, our worries release.
It's a haven, where we can be,
Our true selves, wild and free.

Love's a choice, we make each day,
A decision to care, in every way.
It's a commitment, to stand by,
Through life's ups and downs, we'll never say goodbye.

So let's cherish love, in every form,
A precious gift, that's a treasure to adorn.
Let's nurture it, with care and might,
And keep its flame, burning bright.

For love's a rare, and precious find,
A treasure to behold, one of a kind.
It's a feeling, that's hard to explain,
But with love, our heart's not in vain.

Chameleon

In a world of faces, I'm lost in the crowd
A master of mimicry, but my true self's avowed
I change with the seasons, like leaves on the tree
A chameleon's camouflage, to blend in with glee.

I've tried on many faces, like masks in a play
Hoping to find my true self, but it slips away
I've copied the confident, the charismatic and tried being bright
But their light shines too strongly and I'm lost in their sight

I've worn the cloak of arrogance, with a swagger and stride
But beneath the bravado, I'm hiding my pain aside
I've donned the mantle of humility, with a gentle and kind face
But the fear of rejection, keeps me in a secret place

I've changed my personality, like a chameleon's skin
To fit in with the crowd and avoid the pain within.
Here are five faces I've worn, both good and bad:

The Charmer: with a silver tongue and a heart of gold
I've won the hearts of many, but my own heart's grown cold

The Intellectual: with a mind full of knowledge, and a wit so fine
I've impressed the scholars, but my own doubts are still mine

The Jester: with a joke and a smile and a heart that's full of cheer
I've brought laughter to the masses, but my own tears are still near

The Rebel: with a fiery spirit and a heart that's full of pride
I've challenged the status quo, but my own fears still reside

The Saint: with a heart full of love and a soul that's pure and bright
I've inspired the faithful, but my own darkness still takes flight

But the more I change, the more I feel alone
A stranger in my own skin, with no place to call home.
I'm searching for a glimpse, of my true self's face
A reflection of my own heart, in a world that's slow on pace

Perhaps someday I'll find, the courage to be me
To shed the masks and the pretenses and let my true self be free
But until that day, I'll keep on searching high and low
For the chameleon's true colors and a heart that's full of glow.

The pain of not knowing

? Previous12 3 456…28Next ?
A lament of Love? and Loss
In the silence, I hear your voice,
A whispered reminder, of my foolish choice.
I was blind to your needs, and deaf to your pain,
And now I'm left with the shards, of a love that could not remain.

I wish I could turn back time, and start anew,
To love you with the wisdom, that I've gained from loving you.
But alas, time keeps moving, and I'm left in the past,
To ponder on what could've been, if only I had loved you vast.

I remember the laughter, the tears, and the fights,
The memories we created, in the warmth of our love's light.
But I also recall, the times I let you down,
The moments I was selfish, and wore my crown.

You deserved better, and I know that now,
A love that's pure, and true, and somehow, someway, would make you proud.
But I was ignorant, and foolish, and blind,
And now I'm left to face, the consequences of my mind.

I've tried to reach out, to apologize and to make amends,
But you're ignoring me, and I don't blame you, my friend.
You deserve to be happy, and I want that for you,
Even if it means, that I'll never be with you.

So I'll let you go, and I'll move on with my life,
Though it's hard to imagine, a future without your love and light.
I'll always remember you, and the love we used to share,
And though it's painful, I'll find a way to show I care.

Perhaps someday, our paths will cross again,
And I'll get to see you happy, with a love that's true and plain.
And though it won't be me, who's by your side,
I'll smile and wish you well, and let my heart heal with pride.

Farewell, my love, may you find your way,
To a love that's pure, and true, and brightens up your day.
I'll always remember you, and the love we used to share,
And though it's hard to let go, I'll find a way to show I care.

?The pain of loving in vain?
In halls of learning, where hearts beat fast,
A boy's eyes locked on one girl at last.
Her smile, a sunrise, lit his day,
And he was lost, in a lovesick way.

He'd follow her, with furtive glance,
Drink in her laughter, and romantic dance.
Her name, a mantra, echoed in his mind,
As he'd replay each moment, they'd left behind.

His friends would warn, with concerned tone,
"Dude, you're obsessed, leave her alone."
But he couldn't help, the way he'd feel,
A rush of adrenaline, his heart would reveal.

He'd show up at her games, and her plays,
Bring her flowers, in bright, sunny days.
He'd write her notes, with poetry and rhyme,
Hoping to win her heart, and make it all mine.

He'd spend hours, crafting the perfect line,
Pouring his heart out, in a lovesick shrine.
He'd imagine scenarios, of them together,
And dream of the day, she'd be his forever.

But she, unaware, of his secret desire,
Would smile and thank him, with a friendly fire.
And he, misinterpreting, her kindness and grace,
Would fuel his obsession, and fill up the space.

In his mind, a fantasy, would play and replay,
Of them together, in a love-struck way.
He'd envision their future, with a dreamy gaze,
And believe that someday, she'd feel the same way.

But reality, a harsh wake-up call,
Would remind him, he'd never had it all.
He'd see her talking, to other guys,
And feel a pang of jealousy, that would make him realize.

That his love, was one-sided, and untrue,
And that he'd been blind, to the fact, she didn't feel it too.
He'd try to move on, but couldn't shake,
The feeling that he'd lost, his one chance to make.

One day, she'd talk, to him, with a gentle tone,
"Please, give me space, I need to be alone."
And he, with a pang, of sorrow and pain,
Would realize, his love, was all in vain.

He'd step back, and let her go,
And slowly, his heart, would begin to know,
That love, like a garden, must be nurtured with care,
And that obsession, can be a toxic snare.

The boy, now wiser, with a heart that's sore,
Would learn to love, in a healthier way, once more.
He'd focus on himself, and his own desires,
And learn to let go, of loves that aren't on fire.

He'd discover new passions, and new interests too,
And learn to love himself, and all that he could do.
He'd make new friends, and form new connections,
And find that life, is full of new inspections.

And though he'd always, remember her smile,
He'd know that he's better, off, in a little while.
For he'd learned to love, in a way that's true,
And found that happiness, comes from loving himself, too.

The pain of not knowing
In retrospect, I see the mistakes of my past,
The love I had, but didn't know how to last.
I was blind to the needs of your heart,
And now I'm left with tears, and a brand new start.

I remember the days, when our love was so bright,
But I didn't know how, to keep it burning with all my might.
I took you for granted, and didn't show my appreciation,
And now I'm left with regret, and a deep sorrowful sensation.

I wish I could turn back time, and do things differently,
Show you the love and respect, that you deserved from me.
But life doesn't work that way, and all I can do is apologize,
For the pain and the heartache, that I caused with my own two eyes.

I was so caught up, in my own selfish desires,
That I didn't see the beauty, that was standing right in front of my fires.
I didn't cherish our moments, or show you my love,
And now I'm left with the memories, of what we had above.

If only I knew then, what I know now,
I would have treated you differently, somehow.
I would have been more patient, more kind and more gentle too,
But I was young and foolish, and didn't know what to do.

I hope that someday, you'll be able to forgive,
The mistakes of my past, and the love that I didn't give.
I hope that you'll find happiness, with someone who will adore,
And treat you with the love and respect, that you deserve, and so much more.

But for now, I'm left with regret,
For the love that we had, and the love that we'll never get.
I'm left with the memories, of what we used to be,
And the hope that someday, I'll find my way back to me.

The pain of not knowing, how to treat my woman right,
Is a pain that I'll carry, for the rest of my life's night.
But I hope that someday, I'll be able to heal,
And find my way back, to a love that's real.

Love at first sight

Do you believe in love at first sight?
Or should I walk by and make it right?
I'm not a photographer, but I can picture you
And I know that I'd love to spend forever with you

You're so beautiful, it's like a dream
But I'm not a poet, so I'll just say it's extreme
I'm not a singer, but I'll serenade you
With a love that's true, and a heart that's brand new

You're the cream cheese to my bagel, the peanut butter to my jelly
The missing piece to my puzzle, the one that makes me feel happy and swell
I'm not a mathematician, but I know that two plus two
Equals a love that's true, and a heart that's meant for you

Do you believe in love at first sight?
Or should I walk by and make it right?
I'm not a fortune teller, but I can see
A future together, just you and me

You're the sunshine in my day, the stars in my night
The one that makes my heart sing, and my soul take flight
I'm not a songwriter, but I'll write a song for you
With a love that's true, and a heart that's brand new

You're the missing piece to my heart, the one that makes me whole
The love of my life, my soulmate, my heart's goal
I'm not a prophet, but I know that our love will last
Through thick and thin, through every test, our love will forever last.

A gentleman's guide to winning her heart

When we say we want a man who's strong and true,
We mean one who'll listen, and see us through.
Not just a macho exterior, but a heart that's kind,
A love that's genuine and a soul that's aligned.

We want a partner not a superhero cape,
Someone who'll stand beside us through life's joys and escapes.
We want to feel safe, to feel heard, to feel seen,
To know that our feelings matter and our hearts are scene.

We want a man who'll make us laugh, who'll be our friend,
Who'll stand by us through thick and thin until the very end.
We want a love that's real, raw and true.
A love that's not afraid to show it's vulnerable side, too.

We want a man who'll respect our boundaries, our space,
Who'll understand our quirks, our flaws and imperfect face.
We want a partner who'll support our dreams, our goals,
Who'll be our rock our shelter our safe and peaceful soul.

We want a man who'll communicate, who'll talk, who'll share,
Who'll listen to our stories, our fears, our hopes, our prayers.
We want a love that's open, honest and real,
A love that's not afraid to show it's emotions for us to feel.

We want a man who'll be patient, kind and gentle too,
Who'll understand our moods, our emotions, our "I don't know what to do."
We want a partner who'll be our calm in every storm,
Who'll hold our hand, who'll keep us warm.

We want a man who'll make us feel like queens,
Who'll treat us with respect, with kindness and dignity.
We want a love that's pure, that's true, that's real,
A love that's not afraid to say "I love you," for us to feel.

We want a partner who'll be our best friend, our soulmate, our guide,
Who'll stand by us through lifes ups and downs with a love that won't subside.
We want a man who'll make us laugh, who'll make us smile,
Who'll be our forever love, our always, our all every once in a while.

So if you want to win our hearts, if you want to be our man,
Remember these things and you'll be the best you can.
Be kind, be gentle, be patient, be true and we'll love you forever with a love that's strong, pure and new.

Forever in you eyes

My heart skips a beat, my soul takes flight
When I see you walking, with a gentle, swaying light
Your smile, a radiant beam, that illuminates the day
A warmth, that spreads throughout, and never fades away

Your kindness, a precious gift, that touches every soul
A heart, that beats with compassion, and makes the heart whole
The way you talk, a melody, that echoes in my mind
A gentle breeze, that soothes the heart, and calms the troubled find

You are my sunshine, my guiding star
My shelter from life's storms, my haven near and far
With you, my heart beats faster, my soul feels alive
Without you, I'm but a shell, a hollow, empty, miserable jive

Your presence, a balm, that heals my soul
A love, that makes me whole, and never lets me go
Your touch, a spark, that sets my heart aflame
A love, that burns so bright, and bears no shame

I'm lost in the depths, of your beautiful eyes
A sea, that's calm and peaceful, yet turbulent, and full of surprise
I'm swept away, by the tides, of your lovely smile
A heart, that's full of love, and goes the extra mile

My love, you are my everything, my reason to be
A heart, that beats for you, a soul, that's destined to be free
I'll love you till the end, of time, and space, and sea
A love, that's pure, and true, and meant to be.

The man of my dreams

In the realm of love, I search for a king,
A man with a heart that beats for me alone, and makes my soul sing.
A man with love, with quality, with style,
A man who'll treat his woman right and make her smile.

I yearn for a love that's pure and true,
A man who'll give me attention and see me through.
A man who'll be my rock, my shelter and my guide,
A man who'll help me grow and be by my side.

I want a man who understands the ebbs and flows,
Of a woman's heart and the emotions that it shows.
A man who'll be patient, kind and gentle too,
A man who'll love me for who I am and all that I do.

I dream of a man who's invested in our love,
A man who'll nurture and grow our relationship, sent from above.
A man who'll be my partner, my friend and my confidant,
A man who'll stand by me, through every up and down and every twist and turn.

I long for a man who'll look at me with adoring eyes,
A man who'll make me feel like a queen and treat me with surprise.
A man who'll brag about me to his friends and shout it from the rooftops high,
A man who'll whisper sweet nothings in my ear and make my heart skip a happy sigh.

I crave a man who'll be my safe haven, my peaceful nest,
A man who'll make me feel loved, cherished, and truly blessed.
A man who'll be my forever home, my soulmate and my guiding light,
A man who'll love me through the darkness, and hold me tight through the night.

I want a man who'll overcome any challenge, any test,
A man who'll stand strong and never falter, or find rest.
A man who'll communicate with me, with kindness, empathy and care,
A man who'll say "baby, let's talk," whenever something's not quite fair.

Oh, the man of my dreams, where are you?
Are you out there, searching for me too?
I'll hold on to hope and never give up the quest,
For the man who'll love me truly and be my forever best.
