The Love I lost to Life

I dream of you in shadows deep,
In quiet moments where I weep,

For all the love we could have known,
Had life not claimed my heart as stone.

I loved you then, I love you still,
But duty bound my wandering will.

I walked the path I could not flee, And left our dreams beneath the sea.

Your voice, it echoes in my mind,
A distant song I cannot find.

I feel your touch in empty air, A ghost of love that isn’t there.

The weight of family pressed me down, To wear another kind of crown.

I chose the road I had to take, And broke my heart for others’ sake.

Yet in the quiet of the night, I long to hold you, hold you tight.
To whisper words we never said, And breathe the life we left for dead.

I see your face in every star, A light I chased but couldn’t spar.
The ties that held me kept us wide, Two worlds apart, two souls denied.

Forgive the man I couldn’t be,Who loved you more than you could see.
For in my heart, you’ll always stay, A love too deep to fade away.

Midnight Mirror- A journey to Self

In the silence of night, the soul stirs deep,
In shadows where hidden reflections sleep.

A man sits alone with thoughts that ache,
Unraveling truths that the daylight forsake.

Who am I? he asks in the hush of the dark,
A flicker of wisdom, a soft, quiet spark.

Through stars above and the stillness near,
He confronts his flaws, his doubts, his fear.

With each ticking moment till dawn’s warm breath,
He sheds old burdens, he shuns past death.

The man he was, begins to fade,
Making way for a soul, remade.

A Mothers Heart

A mother's heart, so full of grace,
With endless love, she sets the pace.

Though tired eyes may hide her pain, She gives her all, time and again.

Through sleepless nights and weary days,
She holds her child in tender ways.

Her silent tears, the world won't see,
Yet still, she smiles so selflessly.

Her strength is quiet, yet so true,
A love so vast, forever new.

For in her heart, her children stay,
Her light that never fades away.

Beyond What we See?

A voice within begins to say,?
Is life just wealth and looks today??

Do we forget to lend a hand,
?Or see the hurt we don’t understand?"

Does friendship fade with loss or gain??
Do kind hearts go ignored in vain??

Why judge by what the eye can see,?
And not the soul’s sincerity?

The best in life is love and care,?
A giving heart, a will to share.

Mankind needs to look for care, for thought, for grace,
To see the soul behind each face.

To lift the weak, to share the pain,
And sow the seeds of hope again.

?So let us value what will last—
?A gentle soul, a kindness vast.

An Ode to my Twin Daughters

My dear daughters, my two heartbeats,
Together, may you find life’s sweetest feats.

Like two waves in the endless sea,
May you flow together, wild and free.

Like twin rays from the same warm sun,
May you shine together as one.

Like two notes in a perfect song,
May your bond stay deep and strong.

Fight and play, but let pride take no space,
Value this bond over wealth and chase.

Fly towards your dreams, hand in hand,
In laughter, joy, and memories grand.

Even as you grow, stay close, stay near,
For this bond is life’s true treasure, be forever clear.

Am I a Nobody?

Am I a nobody, hidden and small,
A quiet voice in the shadow’s call.

I give my all, I bear the load,
Yet walk unseen down every road.

Am I a nobody, calm and kind,
Feeling the hurt that others hide.

They find my worth in materialistic charades—
Is there no merit to who’s inside?

Am I a nobody, lost and plain,
For loving deep through joy and pain.

If love and grace don’t earn a name,
Then let me be this “nobody,” glad to be framed.

For in my heart, my truth will stay,
A quiet light that paves the way.

Life is nothing but a hurdle swing

A path of stones, I walk each day,
With skies of grey and hopes that sway.
The world feels heavy on my chest,
Yet onward still, I must contest.

Each step I take, a battle fought,
Through webs of worry, I am caught.
The dreams I chase seem far, remote,
Yet still, I cling with fragile hope.

The wind is cold, the road is long,
But deep within, there grows a song.
For every stumble, every fall,
I rise again, defy it all.
The hurdles loom, the shadows creep,
But courage wakes from where I sleep.

Through hardship’s fire, I forge my way,
And though I falter, though I sway,
I learn that strength is never still,
It bends, it breaks, but never will.

A life of hurdles? Yes, it’s true,
But with each scar, I start anew.
For every challenge that I face
Becomes the light I dare to chase.
