Mother Gaia And Me

Mother Gaia, she nurtures me.
Through my emotions she brings comfort.
She is as loving as she is wild and free.
Even when hurting. Fighting war and disease.
Rain patters upon my window.
She makes me cosy.
I am one with my soul.
My feet grounded to her earth and now I know.
I AM. I AM. I AM.

Breathe

The gift of recovery, is a gift like no other.
A breath of fresh air.
I bounce back. I recover.
No longer tied to my shadow.
Once upon a time it was my lover.
It's the feeling of spring just a few days in.
Couldn't bear to go back to a life full of sin.
Would of been ok except I could never seem to win.
I check mate on the game.
Level up proper.
I'm just glad to be here.
I'm one of the lucky ones who got to recover.
