Caz Leroy Poem
The clock chimes 3–
I lay sleepless in bed
My body feels frozen-
I feel like i’m undead.
My thoughts run wild.
Like a horse in a race.
Im like a labyrinth-
Yet as fragile as a porcelain vase.
I try to sleep yet I open my eyes-
Here comes morning, the sunlight comes to rise.

Caz Leroy Poem
Bite at the hand that feeds me.
Yet I only fed myself.
The meat I ate beneath me.
I stare at my body—
now I have no one else.

Caz Leroy Poem
I walked to the edge of the universe humming a tune— No one else behind me.
Yet I saw a star, who glared as if my past was right behind me.
I asked him—“What do I do; I moved on yet now I have no start.”
He closed an eye and turned on by to say, “keep walking kid, with that tune to lead you to a new start.”

Caz Leroy Poem
To be born in the eye of man; yet to not be seen by the ones who claim they are Gods.
Who am I when man is finally seen by the gods, and they take back everything they lost.
Alone in melancholy, mourning my death, and not their loss.

Caz Leroy Poem
Thank you, for being there when my tearful riverbeds -
flooded down my eyes.
And when the sun couldn't even dry them.
Thank you, for being there when I faced -
the lies, by the one who swore I was the -
apple in their eyes.
Thank you, for being you.
Be cause you told me the truth -
with no ties.
I've tied us a ribbon made of gold.
Thank you, for being there, and gracing my eyes.
