Show me the light, the light from Jesus that shines so bright
It's there for anyone to see
But you must choose to seek it before it's revealed
I can see your bright light dear Lord, I want to show others
So bless me with knowledge, understanding and wisdom forever
I want to tell everyone the very good news
That trials and tribulations create character
More so than any treasures or jewels
So guide me dear Lord, and show me the way
I promise to obey your commandments for the rest of my days
Teach me to teach others all about your wonderful light
To follow the light in the heart and do what is right
I know I can do this with You at my side
I need only to believe, decide and then try, try try.

Because I'm mad
Why so mad
Cuz I've been bad
How so bad
I lost my faith I once had
How did I lose something so rad
When it was always this which made me so glad
So don't be like me and make yourself mad

We must always listen to our Holy Spirit
Which is our heart
We are all born with it from the very start
We can feel it when our hearts are heavy or when it feels light
This, my friend, is your holy spirit telling you what's wrong and what's right
So follow where it leads you at all times
If you do this we will meet in Heaven and leave this earth behind

It's really very simple if you choose to ask me
This thing we call life is as simple as can be
You be nice to me and I'll be nice to you
That's it, that's all, it's all you have to do
Many get fooled by the devil, so don't let that be you
Either way you choose, it all leads back to this
How simple life really is
