The Birth

The snow softly falls,
And all the stars brightly shine.
The Christchild is born.

An Apartment Building

An apartment building is a giant,
Tall.
Holding so many in its clutches.

An apartment building is a means of protection.
A means of shelter:
Protecting from storms.

An apartment building is a monster
With thousands of eyes
That gaze upon you as you pass by.

War

The moon shines bright
At night.

The clouds float away
After the day.

And, as I say with a sigh,
In war many die.

You're Gone

Someday I'll see you again, my Love.
Till then, I'll seek guidance from above
To help me through the coming years,
To hold back sadness and floods of tears.

Ouch!

I climbed a tree
And sat on a bee.
It stung me.

And It Rained

It rained the night I met him there.
The wind blew hard and the rain soaked my hair.
It rained the night we changed my name to his.
And it rained the night of our last kiss.
