The person I used to be

A wandering soul
Lost and confused
An un-played role
So mentally abused

If I cry
I seem weak
A displayed lie
Purpose, I seek

I didn't live that life
I found an exit
Looked for light
I held on, didn't slip

Had a masked face
Covering up disgrace

The Dreadful Longing

I long for you,
but you don't feel the same way.
So, I ignore you mentally,
but my heart just can't.
I crave that skin-to-skin connection,
and your lips against mine.
Not a lustful feeling,
but a love so divine.
Do you want that?
or you rather be intertwined between,
my lace, my soul, my heart and my mind?
I was once cold,
but somehow you heat me up.
It's a burning fire inside,
with the desire to love and be loved,
but the extreme fear of losing myself,
and feeling worthless in the process.
