What Is

What is truth and
what is a lie?
Do I have to be a sleuth
or do I have to die

THREAD OF FIRE INSPIRED BY DAN ENACHE

THREAD OF FIRE

You say you are not worthy to be remembered
Yet, you are that thread of fire!
The one not put out, never extinguished
One sparking a million singing pyres
Your verses breed inner conflict
In turn breeding flames of desire
How dare you concede you're unworthy
When you are that one thread of fire!

What Do I Do

In a straight betwixt two
And cannot decide
Do I boldly come forth
Or do I run and hide

If it comes to fruition
Then I might regret
But follow my intuition
I cannot make that bet

So I'll let it play out
And continue this desire
To bridle Lady Fate
Is to play with her fire.
