Isolation fills you with guilt
Continuing to use the walls that you built
Hiding from reality
You keep running, continuing to flee
Everything you’ve done fills up inside
Till you feel like you have no other choice but to hide
Doing whatever you can to avoid physical consequence
All while your inner struggles are building up a fence
The separation between you and the people you’re closest to
keeps getting bigger, you’re too confined, you have no clue
You keep searching for temporary satisfaction
It’s not working, continuing to feel the traction
It’s like you're stuck in a continuous loop
You can’t stop hiding, it’s like an ongoing hula-hoop
You have the idea that you don’t need to tell anyone
Because you’re not going to do it anymore you’re sure you’re done
But your flesh is too strong, you do it again
You pray to God and finish with an honest amen
Hoping God will help your hidden heart
You’re too stubborn, everything’s once again falling apart

Have you ever been so alone?
That you just fight against everything
Thinking what’s the point, your sadness won’t change
If people don’t change, then you can’t change
Why do people try to make you feel better?
When you know that it won’t change everyone else
No matter how hard you may try to change
They will find something else to make fun of
Why change when you already know the outcome?
It’s not worth it, so you will just continue fighting it.
Have you ever been so alone?
Thinking that nothing good can ever happen again?
Like you are eternally doomed and there’s no way out?
Like you're in a constant loop and it won’t stop?
Every single person despises you?
Even if you try your hardest, people will still misunderstand you
So there’s no point in trying to be happy
When you know you will just end up being miserable again…
So back through the cycle you go
Not willing to listen, or even try to change
You feel there’s no point of happiness
Then why are you even still here
Life may be hard and it may seem completely hopeless
Just know that someone so much bigger created you and loves you
So yes, you could continue being completely miserable
Or you could try something new and different
It may seem uncomfortable, and hard at times
But, you will feel a whole lot better.
The world is an unfortunate, hard short amount of time
But, the happier you are or try to be
The happier you will live.

When I close my eyes and start to imagine
I wonder what life would be
If the world had lost all of its passion
Would the streets at night be empty?
Would there no longer be any excitement?
My mind suddenly turns everything black and white
The art and culture are gone, and there’s no longer any alignment
Everything I knew and believed in is gone and out of sight
The thought of all creativity being destroyed
It makes me hate my true reality a little less
All the violence and hate we can’t avoid
But without all that, there would never be any success
A world without passion is a world without color
And a world without color is a dull world to live in

“The Prismatic Self"
As I lay in my bed trying to figure out what to write
My mind goes blank and my creativity is way out of sight
The need to write the perfect poem and rhyme
Keeps me from getting anything done, until I have run out of time
“Why can’t I just write like I would any other day?”
Because the thought of the contest continues to lead me astray
My mind can’t stay focused on the task at hand
So I start to do other things that were not planned
Eventually I start to get into the mood
Then I get hungry, so I get up to eat some food
The reason I go through this process each time I write
Is because It feels really good when a spark of creativity takes flight
I always finish what I started, even if it takes a while
The stress and inner turmoil is worth it, if I can make someone smile
So if you were to ask me why I write and embrace the stress
I would have to say it’s because of the people I may impress
So now as I lay in my bed trying to figure out what to write
The mirror in my mind stays at ease knowing that the end is in sight
I may repeat the horrific steps all over again
But my creativity is a stage and I hold the pen.

These are some of my all-time favorite actors
They all have some very important key factors
The reasons behind this have many different ranks
I have to start with the beautiful and talented Tom Hanks
From Turner and Hooch to You’ve Got Mail
Tom Hanks will always be at the top of the scale
He will always be my young celebrity crush
I know he’s ancient now, so hush-hush.
Next, I would have to go with Danny DeVito
He’s like a perfectly made cheesy bean and rice burrito
From Deck The Halls to When In Rome
His exterior may be small, but his smile brings him home
Next up is the all-time silly goose, my man Kevin James
His contagious personality is for real, I ain’t playing games
From Mall Cop to Here Comes The Boom
His everlasting talent never ceases to bloom.
Another one of my favorites is the great Tim Allen
He’s not just a tiny two-liter; he’s the full gallon
From The Santa Clause to Christmas with the Kranks
My love for his talent and dedication never tanks
Jack Black most definitely makes the list
With his personality and talent, how can I resist
From Nacho Libre to Kung Fu Panda
His purpose and ability aren’t just some silly propaganda
I am also a big fan of the hilarious Kevin Hart
Every movie I have seen him in is a work of art
I could go on and on listing my favorite actors forever
But that would be quite a long endeavor
So I’m just gonna pick one more
One that I love and adore
So buckle up and get ready for my final actor
I hope you like comedy movies, because that’s a big factor
Chris Pratt is great and deserves this recognition
Just know I love all of the actors; it’s no competition
From Jurassic World to The Lego Movie
His demeanor and personality will always stay groovy
Like I mentioned before, that was my last one
I could keep going, but that would be no fun
So I hope you enjoyed this little list of rhymes
