Yamikani Jamali Hassan Poem
Yesterday I met hope
She greeted and enabled me
to endure challenges
By amplifying self worth in me.
Today I met faith
She gave me strength
To carry on and liveth
Till i reach my destined zenith
Tomorrow I want to meet patience
To help me make logical decisions,
Improve my dexterity to accept setbacks
And reap the benefits of life much more
On the weekend I want to meet love
For my maturation and connections,
To reduce isolation in every stage of life
And to give me poise and strength.
The timing of meeting these four girls is so essential
They cut down to size the dilemma of existential
By cutting loose and unleashing full potential
To make me become influential

Yamikani Jamali Hassan Poem
When our grindstone comes into blossom,
A hen's curse might kill an eagle.
Maybe when hell freezes over,
The snake that I see will bite.
I am mortal but among the Angels
Left but never forgotten
Beneath the cudgel of pain
Pressed under, still my soul is as right as rain
I am a blessing in disguise and Invictus
Bright eyed and bushy tailed
Still, curses and atrocities comes knocking
Trying to knock me yet I am consolidated
It's alright being in dire straits
I got the capacity to take the bull by the horns
I am out of this world, dare send a curse
I will fashion it into a blessing

Yamikani Jamali Hassan Poem
Death is destined to end life
Yet, it's death that brought eternal life
When man had a worthless life,
Death conceived significances to life
The one who created wealth and life for human
The purveyor of life, the holder of plan
Descended lowly to man like a ram to die for man
Whipped and reviled only to reimburse debt for man
The Rose of Sharon was trampled to the ground
Perfect in nature, pure seed thronged into the ground
Being the lion of Judah, he assented into the ground
With a purpose meant to rise and subdue the ground
A crown of thorns was placed on his head
Just to purchase my privilege to a sound mind
He carried his cross on his shoulders
Only to take away the burdens on my shoulders
The death of willpower transpired by the cross,
Consigned existence of superiority and purpose
The mockery, drudgery and death intended for me
Was swapped with his sufferings and death for me
