Rispetto, Not Risotto

I could change the world around me
I would begin by holding hands
With each new connection I feel
A surge of joy from other lands.

It is today with this I say
A worldly order we can play
Joining together we are one
Simple writing, Love has begun.

Sleep Calls

Sleep calls like a pillow adored
Sleep you seek
Not only for the meek
It is sleep you seek to retreat from life
To leave the strife
Only for a while
You recline in style
Slumber you must!
To forget
We are on a cusp.
Going down in town
Leaders retreat
Rioters in the streets
Sleep sleep sleep in...
Your soul must rest
You must win.
Evening in slumbering dreams
There are sins.

The desire
to be
not only

Remembered

Fascinating flowers

blowing with warm breeze
summer afternoon.
Once, supple smooth gems
like a young lady's breast.
But, hence; they've been picked...
