My Heart

I carry my heart heavy like a sac full of gold,
But it isn't precious.
I carry my heart heavy like I wanted to cry.
But it isn’t real.
I carry my heart heavy like I wanted to end my life,
But I didn’t.
So don’t carry your heart heavy, for it is the only reason you are sad.

Pain

Pain is like someone you once loved,

Pain is like a stab in the heart.

Pain is like losing someone.

Pain is the worst feeling of all.

So, do not look the worst in pain, and only learn from it.

Art and Prose of Freedom Juneteenth Poem

Art and Prose of Freedom
In the realm of art and prose, we find freedom's grace,
Unshackled voices, boundless space to embrace.
Words dance like wildflowers in fields untamed,
Creativity's fire is forever unclaimed.

No rules to bind, no limits to confine,
In this realm, our spirits intertwine.
Colors blend, emotions soar high,
In this sanctuary where dreams can fly.

Let the ink flow, let the brush roam free,
In this world of endless possibility.
Art and prose, a symphony of liberation,
A celebration of our boundless imagination.
