Tiffany

Tiffany

An Aunt that’s bright and artistic always happy to please
What great amount of joy Tiffany brings me (:
From facebook to the phone she always makes me smile
No matter the great mile
My Uncle found THE one I’m happy to call a Heathcott
We never would have imagined claiming an Oki till now,
You turn frowns upside down,
A mom, a grandma, an aunt, a cousin, an owner and a wife
Tiffany you are my rock……..
An inspiring aunt(:

Lillian

LILLIAN
She's had a very, very long life, had alot of sacrifice.
A 94 year old widow whose kids are like a shadow.
Lillian is a blossomed lily-pad in the clear blue pond.
She's the 1 Daisy in all the Bluebonnets.
She's sweet and nice.... And never has too much spice.
The sprinkles on the donut, the icing on the cake.
The stars of the night and the sun to the world.
But most importantly the joy to all of our lives.
She speaks with a musical voice and eyes of water.
She has changed many of our lives she is and always will be a full love memory.

This poem is dedicated to lil' as we call her and was written by Amanda Saunders on 3-28-09
(the day of her suprise party)

Racism

Racism.

Why is it so?
Yet one really knows.
Whether white or black, boy or girl, you or me….
don’t you see.
We need to come together, make it stop, for right or wrong, it’s too much!
Election ’08 has made its choice, votes have come
and gone.
Barack Obama has won.
It’s a change.
A big change.
A huge change.
A change some aren’t ready for.
So now we have a huge “chore”.
Be open minded.
Whatever color skin, or religion.
Let it be!
A hug, a handshake.
A smile or a “hi”.
Just something nice.
He’s God’s child too.
It’s not just you.
For my last words….

“Diversity forever and for all!”

Presley

Presley
She was my best friend,
She was my sister.
Where did she go?
I don’t know but I miss her.
7 years,
7 long years we shared so much,
From tears to fears.
She was there for me,
I was there for her.
We traveled everywhere together.
We played great,
Always smiling,
Turning one another’s frown upside down
So what happened?
Where is she now
We have each others greatest secrets.
Where’s Presley? Losing her is my biggest regret!
I shed tears thinking of her,
I drop some now writing this poem.
She doesn’t return my calls, text me back or reply to my emails
Is she mad at me?
Did I do some harm, something wrong?
I’d trade anything for her!
Lord please put us back together soon!
It’s my biggest wish to have Presley back!

Keep her safe and answer my prayer.

More Hethcott Treasures

More Heathcott Treasures

With big feet, they're family.

With big ears, they're family.

With arguments, hugs and kisses, they're family.

With job beginners and retirement, they're family.

With new life and death, they're family.

With cool and weird, they're still family.

Some live far, far away

But still sacrifice their time to reunite with loved ones.

They auction their hard work and donate that money to the reunion.

They cook food to put in the tummies of the family.

Some even spend the night at a park they want to reserve for the reunion.

Ect., Ect., Ect.,

THEY'RE THE HEATHCOTT'S!

Pop

Pop
Pop you are the sunshine to my day in every way,
You’re there for me when I need someone to talk,
And you always know what to say,
You influence me to do the best and then help me when there’s a test,
You’re more than just my grandpa you’re my friend,
I know this cause you’ll be with me through the end,
When I’m sad there’s something that you do makes me glad.
Pop you’re like my guardian angel that saves me from the dark,
I want you to know that you are like a spark in my night that gives me light,
Anytime I don’t want to do something or I hurt, or possible scared to do,
All I have to do is think of you,
Pop I love you very much and even things I didn’t have a chance to say,
I’ll say 3 more words:
Happy Father’s Day!
