Caerdydd

I first locked eyes on her in those salad days,
When my eyes was packed of ignorant bliss,
Some summer days felt like paradise
whilst others were stuffed with abeyance.

When I gaze into the heart,
What I find is towers of gravity,
Keeping up the world.
The wakeful castle looks upon me
wondering if I am worthy.
Now you suffer like a ant.

Around me I am surrounded,
By all faces of old and young,
Bodies from Aberthin to Attock.
Teeming of everyone all around.
Yet you see the floor is full of angler fish.

Out on the dancing floor,
moving my head to the beat,
Fun and free with no responsibility.
Then you wake up hungover
And realise it was merely a dream.
