Choked By Guilt

She opened her eyes again
Hoping to see it sane
Well, it was anything but that
She gloomed as it's scarring words spat

Every time, she choked to speak
Not this time as she wanted to wreak
The creature was aghast
Oh! It wailed and wailed and wailed as she gasped

She choked her voice forever
As she drowned in her guilt further
Oh, the creature scarred and scarred her more with the voice she lost
But she bloomed flowers with the scars she got

Whisper

I always heard a whisper
It whispers to me
"Hide"
But today,
It whispered
"Run"

The Sky

I peer outside my window
To greet the sky as usual.
It is usually bright and happy
But today the sky was sad.

I couldn't help the sky
I don't know why it was sad
It never talked to me
I just felt its emotions.k

But the sky's sadness soothed me
I don't know why
But every time it cried
It soothed me.

Perhaps, I felt comforted
felt comforted knowing that such an
infinite being cried too
I wasn't weak to cry

I just felt the emotions all living things felt
And that soothed me.
The sky smiles, cries, and yells
Just like me.

I was never weak
I was just living
Just like the infinite being
The Sky.

The Doll

There once was a doll
Bruised and battered
Slanted on a wall
Like it never mattered.

The doll once mattered
When the girl was small
And her dreams weren't shattered
As she was yet to fall.

She fell along with her doll
Embraced it until her pieces were shattered
All the doll could do was bawl
And the girl picked her pieces and plastered.

Every step the girl took clattered
Disoriented were her pieces from the fall
Memories forgotten like they never mattered
And long forgotten was the doll.

But today the girl picked up the doll,
Apologized with tears, her voice quivered
When she held the doll close as her body lost her soul
Now they swayed together like their story never mattered.
