Beverly Robertson Poem
awaken dreams night silence screams
till madness leaves from mourning trees
the sunshine breaths what daylight sees
a dawnings tease while lightness flees
a moonlight spies thru blinding eyes
when dusky cries cause twilight dies
across the skies the heart ache flies
and where it lies the sun will rise
some days in time the planets rhyme
then darkness climbs from its sublime
the shadows chime and do their mime
on daylight's dime like its a crime
before the day turned into night
the night turned day into the light

Beverly Robertson Poem
I wish I was a Poet,
but my tools are far and few,
if you could just read them,
you would know its true.
My rhymes they don't flow easy,
my rhythms sometimes flat,
I am not a poet,
its as simple as that.
I read from other poets,
the answer's plain to see,
my mediocre talents,
are not real poetry.
I try my best to hide it,
my real identity,
that I am not a poet,
in this world of poetry!

Beverly Robertson Poem
I woke up,
a strangers next to me,
it's not right,
it's not who it's supposed to be!
I rub my eyes,
to help me see,
my heart is racing,
I want to flee!
Am I dreaming,
do my eyes deceive,
what's happening now,
I can't believe!
No matter how,
I try to leave,
my means of escape,
I can not achieve.
I'm panicking now,
so what can I do,
my eyes are wide open,
I see the full view!
He left the door open,
and the truck running too,
in jumped a man,
but I don't know who.
He slammed on the gas,
without no despair,
speeding into traffic,
he didn't even care!
His eyes were like fire,
like none to compare,
all twitching around,
in a deviant glare.
It happened so fast,
like a blink of an eye,
the only thing said,
was "your not gonna die"!
He finally pulled over,
and just said goodbye,
I looked at him strangely,
and didn't reply!

Beverly Robertson Poem
Hour after hour, I was sitting there,
the time unknown,
deep in prayer.
Her hand I held, but she was unaware,
I was all alone,
in much dispare.
I wish we'd had, more times to share,
while I was grown,
it isn't fair.
This is more, than even I can bear,
no mercy shown,
or life to spare.
Her breathe is short, and she is gasping air,
I hear her moan,
and I prepare.
The time has come, and this I swear,
it will be known,
there's no compare,
the love we share!

Beverly Robertson Poem
I am... my son,
who shines my lights so brightly,
who defends my side knightly.
I am... my daughter,
who shares my cares silently,
who keeps my secrets quietly.
I am... my grandson,
who keeps my life living lively,
who won't even let me sit idly.
I am... my granddaughter,
who hugs me very tightly,
who holds my hand so slightly.
I am... my parents,
who raised me ever so rightly,
who sacrificed politely.
I am... my God,
who is the best inside of me,
who gives me love eternally.
I am... my family!
My family... I am!

Beverly Robertson Poem
I feel a sharp pain, that runs through my chest,
I try and breathe, I can't catch my breath.
I'm feeling so numb, from head to my toe,
Why do I feel this way, I just don't know!
Suddenly I'm lying there, flat on the ground,
I can see people, they're standing around.
Someone is yelling, "Please dial the phone",
"Just stay with us now, your not all alone"!
I can here sirens, there coming so near,
but I am not living, and no longer here,
They felt for a pulse, but it wasn't there,
they were too late, I'm floating on air!
Someone is crying, their tears aren't of joy,
and someone is praying, "Please God I employ."
Some I can hear, but not what they say,
their whispers are quiet, from so far away!
So how can they feel, so empty inside,
when none of them cared, until I just died.
They never come visit, or even say hi,
now they shed tears, they weep and they cry!
Is it from sorrow, from grief or just pride,
that everyone feels, that sadness inside.
To mourn for the dead, no matter the why,
and offer condolences, and say their goodbye!

Beverly Robertson Poem
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
You are my life's delight.
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
I drink you day and night!
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
You give me so much joy,
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
ever since I was a boy!
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
I've drank you my whole life,
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
now I share you with my wife!
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
we watch you brew and flow,
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee,
then sip you nice and slow!

Beverly Robertson Poem
There once was a Lion named Lou,
who thought he was tougher than you.
He got into a fight,
On the wrong night,
and got beat by a kanga-kung fu!

Beverly Robertson Poem
Chills are racing, through the air,
no time to waste, no time to spare,
looking here, and looking there,
can't seem to find, it anywhere!
Searching for, that special thing,
a nice new coat, a shiny ring,
a fancy tie, a child's swing,
at last I found, the newborn king!
Such busy times, it's hard to stay,
along the path, so dark and grey,
but when the burden, begins to weigh,
just kneel down and start to pray!
The Christmas gifts, that you must buy,
for kids to open, and raise up high,
don't even know, the reason why,
that one was born, and had to die!
To give us what, were searching for,
the life and love, for ever more,
the faith that's lost, he shall restore,
he's knocking now, just open the door!
Accept the gift, that's offered to you,
from the one, who's honest and true,
full of compassion, and moral virtue,
so you may be born, again and renew!
