Lindsey Moore Poem
Every little girl
has one thing she can count on
Her Dad
That may be true
for many of you
But me and my Dad
aren't very close together
We fight and fight
he puts me down
Like i was just some dog
He says that he hates
to lug me around
He said i was a burdon
and that made me frown
He tells me i wasn't planned
An unwanted child that showed up
Unexpected
A child that was not wanted even after it was born
My Dad and I
don't speak very often
only when forced to
do we speak or even look at one another
Hopefully one day,
the man who i call my dad
Will actually become a Dad
and say he loves his young child

Lindsey Moore Poem
As i walk down the lane
many faces turn my way
i fear they are judging me
I may not dress like a normal person
but hey that's what makes me... me!
Come on!
Let me be me!
Let me be me!
Don't judge me!
Don't contradict me!
Just let me be!
I see their faces
flash through my mind
as the pain instinifies
I can't help but me
theres not much you can do!!!
Come on!
Let me be me!
Let me be me!
Don't Judge me, you don't know me
Don't contradict my words
Just let.me..be..me
I may be a brat
but hey buddy thats just me
get used to it if your going to stay around
I like being myself
not going to change for somone else!!1
Just let me be ......
just let me be.....
just let me be......
meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Lindsey Moore Poem
As the sun began to set
many retreated to their homes
fearing the dark
but worshiping the light
Praying that their families be safe for the night, the flicked off the lights
Not realizing what terrors lay around every lane
As lights flicker off all around the town
The darkness sets in
cosuming all in its path
Showing no mercy
Then the little ones disappear from their beds
never to been seen again

Lindsey Moore Poem
A little child stands alone
That child has no where to go
With just a trash bag
To hold all her belongings
She is sad and lonely
As she looks up at the house once hers
She cries and cries
Missing her mother and father
But they were long since gone
They had forgotten their child
The little one they had called their own
Is now forgotten with no where to go

Lindsey Moore Poem
Are you ashamed?
That you know my name
As i walk past
why is there a look of
doubt upon your face?
Why do you treat me different
when its just you and I
then when your with the guys?
Why is my face so alarming
When you pass by me in the hall
Why is that you kiss me
only when were alone
Are you afraid to show
your true feelings
around everyone?
Ashamed that your girlfriend isn't the same?
I'm not ashamed and
you shouldn't be either
So either come right our and say it
or say good-bye to me and my heart forever

Lindsey Moore Poem
As the sun comes up
the stars one by one disappear
As the rooster crows in the morning light
the little ones open their eyes
As the sunlight enters a dark room
we awake from our midnight gloom
to greet the morning with a groan
As the birds chirp
we smile very slowly
hating to be woken up in the morning
but we still, however, enjoy the sweet tune
of the little noises of the morning
