Can I possibly rise,
Rise above my rape?
When all I hear are cries,
And I feel I need to escape.
My mind has resigned,
Anxiety and PTSD is all that's left,
All my feelings are confined,
Its like I've been a victim of theft.
Theft that robbed my life,
And did so by surprise,
Always on guard,
It's now time to let go.
To let go of the hate,
And to let go of the guilt,
So I'm starting with a new plate,
Like a patchwork quilt.
To bring back hope,
And to alleviate pain,
So I don't focus on the slope,
Just focus on my campaign.
My life is not what it used to be,
It somehow opened a gate,
And I can at last say I'm free,
Free to be able to rise above rape.

Why do I love thee?
You asked unto me,
I love thee,
Because of those eyes,
You’ve shown me,
To open my heart,
To let love in,
And to feel,
The passion that you have,
For me in those eyes,
Gazed upon me,
With the yearning,
In my heart,
Of lust and desire,
Of hunger and excitement,
Of heat and emotion,
This is why,
Why I do love thee.

I've been trying to find my way,
way back home,
when you walk along,
this long dark road,
and no one is there,
to help carry the load,
you wonder why,
and start to cry,
as the pain inside,
decides to subside,
when life comes fast
and you choose a path,
you find in time,
that the path you choose,
will make you lose,
lose your place that,
you call home,
and think,
all I want to do,
is just go home.

I know in my heart,
The difference between,
What’s wrong and what’s right,
But it doesn’t stop the fight,
When I see in my dreams,
What I’m looking for,
I’m willing to go,
And fight that fight,
To find what it is,
That my heart desires,
My dreams are far and few,
But when I do,
They are always,
Of you,
I want to help you,
Overcome the pain,
Help you to understand,
The touch you’ve,
Brought to my hand,
The moment of which,
You brought hope,
To my life,
And helped me,
To understand,
What comes and goes,
From either hands!

Our love, forever placed in time,
Our hearts forever intertwined,
Like a silver lace vine,
each others hearts,
We keep and hold dear,
Love like this is never clear,
Even though we may not know,
What is planned for us,
We do know that it has grown,

On this night,
Hoping everything,
Is alright,
Hope that soon,
You take flight,
To the world,
Of delight,
I know you,

With your fists held high,
At the bomb sight,
But, just hold on,
And one day it will be alright,
So just keep moving forward,
With your head up right,

Heart rate rises.
Body starts tingling,
You took our love,
And ignited the,
Passion and heat,
In our bodies,
The feeling,
Succumbs me,
As our bodies,
Flow like water,
Holding each other,
Close feeling the heat,
Our bodies start trembling,
And the passion overcomes us,
I call out your name,
Once again,
We are ignited!

It’s sometimes hard,
To put into words,
What you feel,
When comes to your brother,
But I have found,
That he’s not just a friend,
He is someone to help,
In time of need,
I can call him day or night,
From big or small,
The problems may fall,
But if they do I know I can call,
Whenever I need him,
He is there with no hesitation,
Sometimes I’m crying,
Sometimes I’m laughing,
But whatever the need,
I know he’ll be free,
To help me find my way,
He will always be there,
And on this day I will declare,
That he is my brother my best friend.

Unknown
everyday we walk,
into the unknown,
walking through life,
with a lot of worries.
fear of what,
might come our way,
afraid of not being safe,
on that rainy day.
life comes fast,
and you want to last,
even escape from your past,
and you might have,
reached an impasse.
so every day
we walk through life,
afraid of what is to come,
and afraid of the unknown.
