Logan Voss Poem
Starlight
Starbright
Radiance in the shadows.
Starlight
Starbright
Shining high above the gallows
Starlight
Starbright
Guide our men at sea
Starlight
Starbright
Bring them on to safety
Starlight
Starbright
Across the seven seas
Forever shining upon their sails,
Longboat in tow, sword in hand
Valiant at arms upon the rails.
Each man a brother in this band,
All willing to die with a word
Hanging heavy upon their lips.

Logan Voss Poem
My brother, where are you,
can you see the light of day?
Youve done your job, fought the fight,
Why do you stay away?
My brother, what are you,
A monster you've become.
Peices of you are all thats left,
but thats luckier still than some.
My brother, why are you,
so bent on your demise?
A demon borne of angelic wings,
Can none see through your disguise?
My brother, what are you,
seeing with your eyes?
Can you hear me call you,
my shaky broken cries?
My brother, where are you,
Why have you left me here alone?
Here i will wait for you,
Always waiting for you to come.

Logan Voss Poem
Your words were false,
meant only to destroy
Your voice so faint in hallowed halls,
Leaving me feeling as a boy.
My mistake for believing in you,
with every thing you did take,
I still thought them true
I see you for what you are
not just what you've become
Your life dimmed like a dying star
The damage is permanent
All caused by what you've done
A broken spirit, a revenant,
My heart no longer alive
In it's place my black hole sun does thrive.

Logan Voss Poem
Today I caught an angel,
and held her in my hand.
Her hair so fair, her eyes so blue,
All i hold to be grand.
Today I caught an angel,
who filled my life with light.
She flashed a smile, touched my hand,
and pulled me from the night.
Today I caught an angel,
and shared with her my love.
She laughed so light, and shared the same,
My angel from above.
Today I caught an angel,
and begged her not to go.
She shook her head and began to cry,
and said it couldnt be so.
Today I caught an angel,
and my heart she did break.
Angry I let her fly away,
Oblivious to my mistake.
Today I lost my angel,
I pushed away her love.
Away flew my peice of heaven
Away flew my little dove

Logan Voss Poem
Here i go for the hundreth time,
useless meanings in every rhyme
words better left unspoken
my every action it's own token
Who shall listen?
Wasted emotion falls on deaf ears
no light to drive away my fears
Left to myself, utterly alone
no place of warmth, no place of "home"
Why must it be my tears that glisten?
The only thing left that they can never take
I gave up by my own mistake
This wound she left shall always gape
it was my heart and emotions she did rape
woven by false words of love
Each word a lie
With every one, a bit i did die
Her push became a shove
And she turned her back on me.
Hurt, Angry, Afraid,
Confused, Broken, Betrayed
She took on her guise, as happy as could be
So long, fairwell,
Thanks for letting me fall
So long, fairwell,
We could have had it all.
