Suffering

I crawled and stayed low as I could,
Wanted to be punished for being anything but good. No boundaries in place before I took a walk around the world complete in a block,
Never knew that being human meant being entitled to make mistakes and being a Christian meant worthy of asking forgiveness and sneaking a peak at the people you pass when you are walking isn't too much pride. I deserved everything I got that made me feel like , being a pathetic introvert just gave me the excuse to allow for my eccentricities. Flawed in more ways then one yet unable to pin point the most debilitating one, I chose being trapped in the body of some fat, frumpy whiter then white ill proportioned gal with an akward pigeon toed walk, unsure stare and a damaged heart left to stew in misery. I truly love harder then anyone I've seen...but I never say a w ok rd about it...just hope that someone feels it.

You are Strength

You are the "fresh" in the air of the new day
You are the breath of the sun's ray
The voice of the moon when it has something to say.

You are the beacon for those who are broken.
You are the wisdom within the story spoken..

You've taken the brunt of it all,
You've been big enough to hush
And smart enough to crawl.

Nurturing your own precious child has been the hardest thing to do,
Because nobody has been strong enough to hold on to you.

Broken Promises

Promises are made only to fade quickly with broken vows that are never given a chance to be kept.
How easily they are gathered and weathered and swept under the woven rug.
Empty words of love are spoken to tease your heart that is bleeding and broken,
But soon they fade into the bitter, cold night, in hopes of finding a place to lay down and die without a fight.
When your tears subside and you find your way out of the foggy haze, you step into denials' search for better days...only to find yourself looking for someone to blame for all your heart ache and shame.
In the shattered mirror left hanging on the wall...you are left to come to a realization...and you spend the rest of your life protecting your broken heart.

Admire

You are the voice of the sun, spitting fire that blazes trails of madness across the sky.
You are the hands of the moon, gently rocking the cradle of insanity; insisting it lie dormant for a time.
You are the Amber glow that passively shines it's light to reveal the path out of the darkness.
You are the face on the wall that only speaks by the alignment of the stars and the movement of the ocean.
You are the deep thoughts in my head that force me to think about the storms passed and storms to come.
You are what my shallow way of thinking loves to tickle and wallow in. Reminding me that the sun will shine again.
You are the reason behind my every breath and the purpose for my every step.
You are my daily bread...
How can you say that you mean nothing to me when you are everything
