Waste

Morning comes with bloom,
Hours are spent in your room.
Waste, now comes the moon.

Now the past has come,
And the present it is gone.
The future? There's none.

The sons and daughters,
They will suffer the horror,
And will run further.

Never-ending road,
Although the flowers have showed.
Late, now they have flowed.

Old

Roots that run deep,
And knees so stiff.
A presence so dim,
A being with no calling.

Wasting land with no plan,
And branches with no clan.
Leaves that are ripped,
And purity that's stripped.

So old and forlorn,
And hoping to deform.
With nothing to mourn,
And treated with scorn.

A curse has been cast,
With knowledge so vast.
In this world, an outcast,
Longing for the past.
But will eventually come to pass.

Tree

There once was a tree,
So little and tiny,
Fragile to the wind, and roots too thin,
With leaves so few,
A being too pure.

Coming from the wilderness,
A place of life yet so lifeless,
With little to no kindness,
The place of loneliness.

Exists there creatures so vicious,
Striking those who are oblivious,
Creatures so venomous,
Tricking you and making you unconscious,
Where everything is malicious,
The little tree still ambitious.

Now comes the time of darkness,
The little tree alone and harmless,
As evil gathers in their masses,
Everything feeling so hopeless.

But the sun always comes shining,
Helping it with its growing,
And will always come reminding,
That no shadow will exist
Without a light amidst the abyss.

Choice

Drenched to the bone by the blood of cancer,
Of the weak who have risen from the old order.
From peace, we’ve strolled further and further,
From a bright past to a dying ember.

We stumbled upon a fork in the road,
One that's lonely, dark, and unknown.
Mysterious with possibilities so broad,

And one that's straight and narrow,
Where everyone has wandered,
Full of promises
And change said by the masses.

The road's end holds a curse,
With our fates always becoming worse.
Forever stuck in a circular purpose.

Pass

Now comes a gale,
With it rain and hail.
Fail or prevail,
Virtuous or derailed.
All will be impaled.

Those who’ve lived with thorny crowns,
Will rejoice to renounce.
Those with silver spoons and shining gowns,
Will weep and fall down.
Those with fate and lived to denounce,
Will assume the golden town.
While those who’ve hailed false crowns,
Await the burning hounds.

Though the image pass the storm,
To the hearts beat forever unknown.
If only the journey be known,
One's image never too late to be born.

Thanks

A shine better than sunrise,
Presence better than moonlight.
For without you,
No direction I would go to.

When forlorn at night,
You’re the star that guides.
When lost at sea,
From the lighthouse, you seek for me.
When no one can see,
You’re sure to agree.

A life of toil,
With you always spoiled.
Without you,
My life's a-spoil, scrounging for spoil.

A life so bland,
You make it grand.
Life so lonesome,
But there you stand,
Always with a helping hand.

Nature

The pale sky always anew,
A lake of deep crystal blue,
Reflecting rainbows of every hue.

Leaves falling graciously,
And flowers fluttering softly,
The towering trees,
Aiding the gentle breeze.

The chirping of the ebullient birds,
The buzzing of the loving bees,
The creaking of the trees,
The gentle gust of the wind,
The rhyming sounds of nature and life twinned.

Though heavy rains may leave tears,
Inflicting us with burning fears,
A perfect world it was conferred,
For after everything that passes,
This splendor moment will have recurred.

Dark Roads

Ahead, lies a dark road,
One where a curse has been bestowed,
Where the darkest clouds have been forbode,
Where everything's been throwed.

A road meant to pave
for a brighter tomorrow,
But everything you gave
Repaid with sorrow.
Always the sun sets low,
Casting a shadow
Over the woeful road.

You've been here before;
You hear the pity roar.
You ask yourself,
Should I be more?
But what's it all for?

You look to see
All roads are guaranteed
To always sink deeper than the sea.
What am I to be?

Ill Wait With Open Arms

Winds come blowing,
I sit and listen
To the birds humming.
As all things start crumbling,
I'll wait then.

I see trees,
With falling leaves,
And the sun
Seeking to abandon.
Blinded by the blowing wind,
My vision has dimmed,
And my life trimmed.

Once I'm done,
The webs I've spun
Will fall one by one,
Till there's none.

I won't run,
For all things I've done.
More fortunate than some,
I've had my fun.
To those I'll miss,
I'll give a kiss,
As I wait for the abyss.

Goodbye

As I walk on hard nails,
To set alight a burning blaze.
Rings of smoke cover the skies,
Echoes of cries,
Heard past the mountain highs.

Once a bond so tight,
I needed not to fright.
Feelings of the highest height,
A love burning ever so bright.

But soon the fire is blown by the wind,
A blooming tree now trimmed.

Now cutting old ties,
Solemn cries,
Teary eyes,
Looking up at the sky,
As I say goodbye.
