While taking a walk I came upon a bridge
It was sparkling silver just above a ridge
A small person in grey waved me her way
While crossing I stopped last time along the way
Looking around should I go or stay
Decided to go her way
As I got near saw my dear Ma surrounded by clover
I was now a step from going over
Yes, I was heading to heaven
My journey over at age seventy seven

The Rising sun is a sight to behold
It is big and bright and very bold
It shines bright and gives us light
Glorious to see in all of its might
A giver of life that makes things grow

A simple kiss after a slow dance
Started a life of love and romance
A life of sharing and caring followed this kiss
Who knew it would spark a life of bliss
Also included was a boy and a girl
We then were lucky to give family a whirl
Never doubt the power of a kiss
It may lead to a life you don’t want to miss
So reach for that girl and give her a kiss

The leaves keep coming down
I see them tumbling with a frown
Their beauty won’t stay another day
The Wind is surely taking them away
Their season is over, it is plain to see
